Buy more watch faces in the Hublot store? Does Tag do that as well and charge money for additional watch dials?

No, the TH Connected from the three generations have some factory installed watch faces, and there are also official additional watch faces (from TH Ambassadors, Giro d’Italia, Red Bull Racing, Manchester United...) that you can install afterwards for free... and there is of course the WatchMaker app (just one small payment) that allows you to make your own watch faces and to download hundreds of free watch faces from other authors

“Only costs USD 5800” 😁

So if we compare it with the titanium TAG Heuer Connected, the Hublot has quite worst technical specifications as a smartwatch (smaller screen, smaller battery, no GPS...) and it costs more than double! 😵‍💫

Thank you. When I try on my phone it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version." I'll try it on my watch after I charge it.
Then maybe this app is only available for Gen1 and Gen2... 😕

😁 I would have to see it in the metal, but at least it has personality.

As a smartwatch it is very basic and unremarkable, so to sell it at that price, something must have this Hublot to try to justify that price... or else the brand directly teases customers

Looks like that's the case. It won't pull up on a search on my watch. Odd that they wouldn't make this available for Gen3.

Which TAG Heuer Connected do you have? 2015 Gen1, 2017 Gen2, or 2020 Gen3?

And what app do you want to install? WatchMaker app?

You’re welcome! 👍

Of course you can install the WatchMaker app in your iPhone:

And then you need to buy the Premium version of WatchMaker (with just one payment, you don’t need any weekly or monthly subscription, and you don’t need to upgrade to WatchMaker VIP either, just Premium is enough)

And you also need to install WatchMaker in your TAG Heuer Connected (through the Google Play app)
Then you will be able to send watch faces from your iPhone to your TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 😀

You will find info about how to do it, here:

Exactly. You only pay once from the Apple app store when you install it in your iPhone. You are not paying when you install the WatchMaker app in the watch through the Google Play Store

Ok, so Apple Watch series 6. What's it like? I've been using mine for most of the week and I can say that it's pretty awesome. I shelled out about $800 for a high end Stainless Steel/Sapphire crystal version and the integration, features, and battery life are pretty impressive. Also impressive are the wide range of straps and bands that are so easily changed that they remind me of my CM41.

What's missing, sadly, is an elegant base design along with any semblance of high end, well designed watch faces to compliment it. This is the big advantage that TH has. Apple doesn't allow third party face creation mainly due to their laser focus on battery life. Third party complications make up for it a little, but without a high-end ambient mode face, even the stainless steel case/bracelet doesn't make this into a device I'd want to wear on a formal occasion. Apple has added a few more faces to WatchOS 7 but they still fall far short of what I'm used to.

I think that if Apple includes a space-black ceramic case/band option and some real faces that compliment their rectangular design (think the Classic Cartier line), then they would have a real contender.

For now however, this one becomes my daily driver (the health features alone are spectacular) and my CM41, which is in for screen replacement currently, will accompany me on formal occasions.

But the policy of Tag Heuer Connected that allow us to "upgrade" to mechanical watch after 2 years, its truly amazing in my opinion

Does this still apply?

Not for current Gen3
It was for Gen1, and Gen2 Modular has the mechanical modules as a “connectedtoeternity” program, but there’s nothing similar for Gen3
