I was just in Las Vegas this past week, and noticed that none of the Boutique stores were selling the Connected watches in-store anymore. That can't be good news for the line.
Yep, its gone from their website as well. Its interesting as all of these so called "modules" should still be relevant. I think the whole modular concept is probably going now.
Yes, the complete watches and maybe some mechanical modules. But the Modular accessories (straps, lugs, bracelets, buckles) will not go to the outlets. These accessories will remain available only at the AD, at normal prices... at least this is the info given by the TAG Heuer outlet boutique at La Roca Village-Barcelona (Bicester group).
They have some straps in the outlets but as Albert-AMG said at retail price. I bought a brown leather for my Modular 45 for retail $275.00. This was in Sawgrass Mills Outlet, Florida. They had a couple 45 and 41 with 30% discount.
New Tag Connected watch, saw it today. Impressions look nice no wings, looks like a normal Carrera case. No modular compatibility (sad), easy changeable straps, Model I saw stainless steel black ceramic, black rubber strap. Qualcom chip, heart rate monitor. Looks beautiful. Was not allowed to take pictures. Launch date March 13.
Was told today that the previous Connected watches are due in to Bicester Village either today or tomorrow.
