What is Max wearing here? Just a plain F1?
Looks like a F1, might be a Red Bull F1 (2022 or 2020 version). That photo is old, from a past season.

Max was wearing his custom Monaco Split Seconds at Mexico.

I can tell your photo is from a prior season because the list of sponsors on his left arm is in a different order and his racing suit doesn't have the thick blue stripe going down the side of his torso. This pic was taken during Mexican GP Qualifying 2024, showing his current racing suit.

Yeah, I figured as much. It was in a video released yesterday by F1Will, but since he is at loggerheads with the FIA over using content he's probably pulling as much old material out of the archive to avoid problems.

If the new black dlc quartz RB F1 is what you were looking for, some Boutiques already have them. I've seen it, very nice.

Wuuut! Does it have graffiti on it??
It has the words RED BULL as a stripe motif going down the left side of the dial. Not really graffiti to me, but I suppose someone could interpret it that way.

Is it a chrono?
Yes. Quartz chrono, just like the past RB F1s. Dial is a very dark blue, asphalt surface. RedBull stripe in red and yellow chrono hand. Matching dark blue rubber strap. Looks very Red Bullish with the matte black case. LE of 3000.

Brazilian Grand Prix is on right now (early). Qualy was a mess, and delayed, and carnage, the early race start was aborted on the formation lap, race begins in 6 mins. Messiest race in the wet since Spa a few years ago.

Amazing victory for Max. From 17th to 1st.

Echos of Senna's famous race.

Not the same. 👎

Senna passed all the cars on his own. Max benefited by the race being red flagged, just after Norris and other front runners ahead of Max pitted for tires.

Exactly. Max and the two Alpine played the lottery not pitting under VSC, and then the red flag (because of Colapinto’s crash) gave six free positions to them, because they had a free tyre change during the red flag.

Without that Colapinto’s crash, Max would probably have finished sixth… or worse, because the three cars that didn't pit would have lost a lot more positions at pit lane, as they were being grouped under the Safety Car when Colapinto crashed and caused the red flag. Max did a good race but not to win on his own. He was very lucky in the lottery… Colapinto should receive free supply of Red Bull cans as a gratitude 😉

Going by the rumours, his reward is Perez's seat in 2025 anyway

We have to give credit where it is due 😉 I know some of the guys here don’t like or support Max. I’m not die-hard MV fan but I have to thank him for elevating TAG Heuer with his and Red Bull wins. I dreamt of reliving & seeing the Senna-TAG Heuer wins of old with this modern day iteration 🏁 How I just wish Max is a true fan of the brand inside and outside of the track. For a true motorsport fan, nothing ever beats TAG Heuer 🏆

For sure Max and Red Bull have done well for TAG Heuer, I'll give them that.

But if you've ever watched Senna while he was alive, there's simply no comparison. They are completely different in both their driving styles and personality. For more than half of his career, Senna did not have the best car and yet has done some very amazing things, winning when he shouldn't through pure skill not luck. Such as home Brazilian win in '91, with a broken gearbox that left him with only 6th gear for much of the latter part of the race.

I've yet to see Max rise to that level. Max drove well today but was also extremely lucky that the red flag came when it did.

Every race just gets rougher for Perez, he has to be done surely.

Lando made some comments about Max getting lucky on the day that were a bit sour grapes too, then he apparently doom scrolled all the negative comments in his Instagram hitting like on all of the ones that were directing abuse at him. He probably needs to step away from social media and work with a sports psychologist as he’s not really handling things well.

Sure luck played a part, but it's funny how the 'luck' always comes to World Champions. Watching this race it reminded me of how many times Hamilton got lucky when he was in his purple patch...

But seriously though. What is the point of wet tyres? How wet was that track and they were talking about stopping the race, and yet only one driver (I think) was actually on wet tyres. I wonder how many wet tyres Pirelli bring to each race? Gotta be hundreds. So much for F1's green credentials. I don't understand why the FIA can't make them start on wets if it's wet enough to need a rolling start. Makes zero sense.
