Watching the highlights a second time, yes Max was lucky with the red flag, but he was very unlucky in qualifying so he should never have been starting 17th in the first place. Meanwhile Lando seemed to drive off the road several times for no apparent reason and Max finished 17 seconds clear of everyone. Lando is going to need an enormous amount of luck to win the title now, 62 points behind with 80 something available. So if Max wins in Las Vegas it's over

"62 points behind with 85 on the table...." I'm reading, but it's actually 88 isn't it? Three races, one sprint and three fastest laps!

It's 3 * (25+1) + 8 = 86

Max won!

Stroll crashed during formation lap!

Lando sliding left and right going off track!

This race brought so much joy to my heart 🥰

Isn't it weird. When Max loses he looks like he might kill someone, and when Lando loses he looks like he wants to go and hide in his bedroom.

Meanwhile I am enjoying George 'The Fop' Russell making Lewis look silly. 😁

Anything's possible, I guess...

1979 Jody Schekter
2000 Michael Schumacher
2001 Michael Schumacher
2002 Michael Schumacher
2003 Michael Schumacher
2004 Michael Schumacher
2007 Kimi Raikkonnen
2025 Lewis Hamilton ???

Can you believe it's been 16 years since the last Ferrari WDC?

Ferrari are more than not, either greased lightning, or nowhere.

They're nearly always near the front. But very rarely produce enough reliability, consistency and flawless strategy to maintain a winning advantage.

I imagine this is basically what Charlie's CV says:

I am consistent, reliable and execute my flawless strategies flawlessy. 😁

Not sure I'd use the word flawless twice so close to each other like that in my CV!

These days HR don't read em, they just run em through an AI parser that tots up keywords and spits out the person who lied the most as being the best candidate.

Sadly, this is fairly close to the truth. I was made redundant earlier this year and struggled to get interviews whilst I worked out the best way to present my CV. I even resorted to using ChatGPT to help me.

Someone might read them eventually - well skim read them. Once they've been filtered through the AI keyword checks of course.

Or Max wins in Vegas and it's over.
If it's going to happen, I hope it's in Vegas, as I'll be there again this year.
