Pole Position, 1st and 2nd places in the podium, and fastest lap: 44 points from 44, a good way to start the season!! ;)

Indeed, and now it turns out Ham had a damaged floor, it seems Mercedes might dominate the season with an even bigger margin than last year. Yawn ;)

I turned on to watch the last 15laps ish, stuck with it to see if Max could catch and pass a merc, no luck there though, don’t know how much effect the trip over the grass had.
That could be my F1 season over now?

Not much sympathy for Ferrari but plenty for LeClerc! His time will come, though.

Nobody can dispute that LeClerc deserved that win, but then name another racer who hasn’t been in the same situation. His time will certainly come.

    A great race to attend.

I’m very happy with the result today! :)
Leclerc deserved the win , but car reliability is also part of the game, and Mercedes also won 1-2 this race where was not expected. Next race track should fit better the Silver Arrows...

Ferrari engine problem and Vettel mistake costed many points to the italian team, and Hamilton won -one more time- the match vs Vettel.

It’s also interesting the fight between team mates in Ferrari and Mercedes. Ferrari gave team orders to Leclerc in Australia to avoid that fight, but not here, and Leclerc is now in front of Vettel in the provisional standings, with Hamilton just 1 point behind Bottas, who is still leading the championship ::popcorn::

This race was a lot of fun. A lot of great elements. It does certainly seem Ferrari and Mercedes will be dominating with that exceptional pace. Bottas again in his usual roll. RB seem once more best of the rest. I’m sure VER will be very frustrated if it turns out that way. LEC is on fire and the old guy just keeps making mistakes. Expect a lot of drama at Ferrari if LEC keeps outpacing his team mate. Also surprised by Mclaren’s pace. Great start of the season!

Apparently Bottas had some plastic in his air intakes which caused him to lose power, either that or it was just the old Bottas back again...

Such a shame for LeClerc, Hamilton really had that one handed to him by everyone!

My interest in watches started when I was watching Formula 1 during the early 90s. TAG Heuer simply stood out as the watch to have especially the launch of their 1st gen Formula 1 watch. It was the coolest thing to have as a kid :) 2000s was Schumacher & Ferrari "domination" days and how i wish now Ferrari will level up their game and bring the fight to Mercedes. (It's more thrilling to watch F1 now if your rooting for the under dog Ferrari::popcorn:: haha)

Love of TAG Heuer watches, Formula 1 and anything automobile motorsports started from there.::psy:: Thanks to F1 & TAG Heuer!

Mercedes AMG is still a league on their own. 1st 3 races, 1-2 podium. Ferrari can’t seem to catch up and fight for the title..

I’ll tape the next race and watch FF... has an F1 season start even been this dull? This race had nothing. More excitement at a local karting race.

Mercedes-AMG has started the season the best possible way, and it’s now clearly leading both Driver’s and Constructor’s standings with a very good and reliable car, but Ferrari was in fact faster in Bahrein, so it will depend on the racing track...

    843D1E9E-B6E9-4D75-AB63-AE8FE7D06FCF.jpeg

For sure Ferrari will fight during the season (and depending on the race track), but they have lost many points for reliability problems (Leclerc in Bahrein), for driver mistakes (Vettel in Bahrein), and for team orders (today in China, with Leclerc losing the position with Verstappen, when Ferrari today at least had the 3-4 in the pocket). So up to now Mercedes has maximized the results, and Ferrari doesn’t.

BTW, I don’t like Ferrari giving team orders to Leclerc to stop him (giving advantage to Vettel) so soon in the season. They have done it in the first three races of the year! when both drivers are so equal in points, and both should be able to fight for the Championship. Ferrari is hurting Leclerc’s moral acting that way. Team orders are normal when one driver is clearly fighting for the Title and the other is out of that fight, but team orders from the beginning of the season are not fair...
