Not a bad first day for Hamilton at Ferrari

I noticed that Hamilton has gone back to an all yellow helmet, more reminiscent of his McLaren days. It looks good in the red Ferrari.

The drivers change their helmet design styles so often, it's hard for me to keep track. I prefer the good old days when their helmets basically stayed the same, which became part of their signature look.

While Tag Heuer is back as the official timing of F1 i wonder if we will ever get back the best part of an F1 weekend?

Will see if I can get some pics next month from the Melbourne GP. Specifically which clocks they will use. I know @Mspeedster is keen to see how it looks this year.

When I first started following F1 as a kid, the paddock & grid looked like this. Lauda vs Hunt

Times they are a changing. But I'm not sure if change is always for the better. 🤔

Latest teaser of the movie
I wonder if TAG Heuer will try to get 11th hour product or timing placement, given their return to F1?

Just as well if they don't, I have a feeling this movie will not be that great.

Brad Pitt has IWC on his racing suit, so I would not expect any TAG Heuer wrist watches on the lead actors.

However, they could easily add TAG Heuer to some of the on-board camera sequences, like they did in the old days.

If it’s half as good as Top Gun: Maverick, I’ll be happy.

I hope I'm wrong, but even half as good might be a tall ask. So far, these teaser trailers have been devoid of any plot whatsoever.

But heck, that didn't stop Le Mans from becoming a cult classic. So, we'll see!
