Speaking of Sir LH, ever since he started in F1 back in 2007, he has managed atleast 1 Grand Prix win per year. He has only driven a Mercedes engine power unit. If he doesn’t win atleast ONE this year, is it a sign of things to come? I’m proud of what he has done in F1, but I think there are alot in store for him outside this world 👍

World Champions get paid way way more than their non Champion teammates. Whether they perform better or not in that year. It’s not just about performance and results for these guys. It’s their name, their experience, the sponsorships they bring to the team. They have a package and “brand” already. Don’t we pay huge amount of money for “luxury” watches also eventhough the Seiko/Grand Seiko next to it performs better 😉

Have your seen the prices for Grand Seikos???

Okay, doesn't sound completely ridiculous, but.... still. It's not exactly a 'must have' for a Lewis fan, especially since TAG Heuer is so associated with Red Bull these days.

Like many, Grand Seiko offers a wide range of products as well. Yes they also have exorbitant prices (being the “luxury” arm of Seiko) But one of the nicest watch they have, Spring Drive Snowflake will not cost you your arm, leg and kidney 😉 Has an uber top tier caliber (automatic with a precision of a quartz) and not too crazy pricing. For the money that you put it, others find it a steal for a Grand Seiko when comparing to their Swiss counterparts 👍

Porsche and Red Bull deal kaput I hear.

Why do Porsche want to buy into the team? I thought they would just take over the engine side.. wonder how this affect TH if say Porsche end up buying Williams and competing against Red Bull in F1?

My take is that Christian Horner, Helmut Marko, Adrian Newey etc.. have built this championship winning F1 team out from an energy drink. They are not from big name car companies and didn’t start from a well funded corporation.

They wouldn’t just simply hand over their roles and purpose once Porsche bureaucracy comes along owning half of the team. It’s probably team management / core decision issues just like how Enzo Ferrari never wanted to give up his racing ambition in the midst of selling his company to Ford ☕

Another lovely thing is to see racing strolls down in bottom doing Haas lap times 👍 really brings warmth to my heart to see

Max has a five place penalty and starts 4th, simply lovely
It seems that 2nd + 5 place penalty is 7th after all

Doesn't matter, whenever Leclerc is on pole it becomes an omen that Max will win.
Leclerc has only managed to convert two pole positions to GP wins this season. The rest of the poles were won by Red Bull (4 for Max & 1 for Checo)

This will be another exciting race at the “Temple of Speed” 🍿
