Jeddah looks FAST! I wonder how many safety cars there will be and how will that affect the Championship?

A heart break for Verstappen, a cracking lap that went very wrong at the end. Hoping the gearbox did not sustain a puncture, but that impact was huge on the rear.

Indeed that was tough, what a great lap until then. With a gearbox change that’ll be p8. Max will need a little help from the safety car to have any chance in that case. He’ll need to win tomorrow or in Abu Dhabi, that hasn’t changed.

I think there will be more than one incident tomorrow for sure... anything could happen here.

The cars look FAST as hell on this track... really looks quite scary.

That track would be risky even on a playstation! I fear carnage, it might not happen till the pitstops begin and players are out of sync, but I think something will happen.

Badly designed. A street track in the desert, go figure.

Nobody commenting on that race then? It's perfectly poised going into the final one!!

Yes, unless the stewards have anything to do about it which might be harsh given it looks like a comms fυck up from race control.

I really hope nothing silly happens next week. We need to remember this season for the right reasons and not a Schumacher on Damon hill type scenario.

Another week another Max controversial situation.
I'd you're giving a position back it's not generally done by staying in the centre of the track.

Not generally done? There’s no rule where you need to go. Of course he wants to keep pressure on. Lewis had plenty of time and space to pass him, I don’t get it, so bizarre. He was hesitating, right, left, never seen anything like that.

I agree. Why did he shift down and slow down. Maybe he thought max was lining up a left hand down or something.

If max did actually have a problem then he would have just driven up his arse.

Maybe he thought it was another virtual safety car

Then as per the old saying you play to the whistle. If he telemetry shows nothing then he can’t be penalised I’d have thought.

Helicopter feed clearly shows Lewis had lots of time to pass. Max was on the right, not in the middle.
