Super Max and his gadget fingers adjusted/modified Lewis wing! Supporters in both camps getting a lather on face ache over this. Sod this, off to the rugby to watch Scotland take on the World champs South Africa, I’m sure it’ll be old news by the time I get home.

Oh man if Merc actually argue that Max corrupted their DRS set-up by touching it for two seconds and the stewards agree then you may expect fireworks.

The technical scrutineers can't prove 100% that Hamilton’s DRS was already wrong before Max touched the rear wing, so the Stewards shouldn't penalize Hamilton (and even more if Bottas' DRS was fine with Max not having touched it)

The penalty for Max will depend on whether his infraction is typified in the regulations, but a Parc Fermé infraction usually has the same penalty as a technical infraction: DQF from that session

By all reason we can only hope that the examination will show that the wider gap could not have been caused by Max’s actions. It’s a ridiculous assumption. These things operate at 300km/h. The stewards didn’t impound the rear wing for nothing. The impounding of the rear wing might also have to do with the flexi wing complaint by RB.
In any case no driver has EVER received a penalty for touching another driver’s car at parc ferme and there are many examples of that, with Vettel being the biggest ‘offender’.

The point is that here the part touched by the rival driver is the part that has later been investigated and it has been found that it does not comply with the regulations. On this occasion, the action of touching the part in Parc Fermé has been relevant.

Max has tainted the evidence by touching it in Parc Fermé. Even neutral F1 engineers claim that they cannot be 100% sure that Max's act at Parc Fermé did not affect the FIA's DRS measurement. And if there is not 100% certainty in such a case, it should not be sanctioned

According to Marko Merc are indeed claiming Max damaged Lewis’ wing. What an embarrassment for the sport…
Max must’ve drank a barrel of RB to be able
to manipulate that wing.

They had to make an example of Max, what idiocy.
‘The stewards warned all teams and drivers that "future breaches may incur different penalties".’

stewards’ penalties box really is like a box of chocolates.

"Clear, high definition video from the rear facing roll-hoop camera on car 44 shows that there is absolutely no movement of any of the wing elements on car 44 when Verstappen touches the back of the wing and the stewards are satisfied, from watching all the videos, his body position and the video of the wing, that there was insignificant force when Verstappen touched the wing.”
It appears Max isn’t an Xman after all.
