Such a cool livery! Too bad the Japanese GP was cancelled, the Japanese fans would have really appreciated the tribute to Honda!

Lucky weekend for RB. They seemed out of contention and managed p2 and 3. Hopefully they’ll be more competitive in Austin. Strange strategy by Merc. Maybe they were waiting for the track to dry up and send Lewis out on slicks. So many mistakes by Merc and Lewis this season, it almost seems unnatural. Max takes WC lead but a simple Lewis-Max 1-2 in Austin is enough to reverse the lead once again.

If they could have held on for slicks they could have won... did anyone apart from Vettel actually go onto slicks?

Yes, I liked the livery more than I thought I should when I first saw it. Kinda hoping they spice things up a bit for the 2022 car

Dont think anyone else did!

In Vettel's defense though, we know how much he loves to spin on racetracks so he probably had the time of his life out there 👍

Merc have been strong in Austin previously, will be interesting to see how it plays out this year. Like you say, we are getting used to seeing Merc and Hamilton making mistakes this season so we can only pray that they find a way to mess up in Austin too 👍

Simply lovely
Yes, because even after the engine change penalty, Mercedes-AMG extends the lead in the constructors' championship with 3 more points 😉

That was nice.

This made my day 👍 Great win for Bottas (first in 2021) but Super great for Red Bull. They said it is the MAXimum that they can get, 2 and 3 podium 😉

So will that be VB's last GP victory?

He can still win for Mercedes-AMG in any of the remaining races, theoretically 😉 Unless team orders tell him otherwise 😗

Hamilton should:
1. Stop early.
2. Take the risk and don’t make any tyre change.

But for chose option 2 he should have taken easy with the tyres since the half of the race, after having reached 5th.

😁
I don’t accept the deal for 2021, as Lewis has to win his 8th Title to overcome Schumacher (which would make me very happy)... but I would accept
this deal for 2022 if Lewis wins the 2021 Title 😉

Anyway this season is being really exciting! Just 6 points between Max and Lewis after so many races is almost a tie, and also Mercedes seem to have greatly reduced the performance gap with Red Bull in recent races, so I'm looking forward to the next race in Austin 🍿
