Seb gave up his Hublot for a Casio, hahaha
Wouldn't be such a bad swap to be honest?

Seriously? Nooooo, rather a nice Classic Fusion with a sunburst dial on rubber strap than a Casio!

Was a tongue in cheek comment.

But in all seriousness, I would rather wear my Casio G-Shock than a Hublot. Of course if I was given a choice, I'd take the Hublot (and then sell it) 馃榾

Why all the Hublot hate? Is Hublot the new TAG Heuer? Hublot have some horrendous watches, but they also have some nice ones....

Its funny, many TAG Heuer fans love to hate on Hublot. Each to their own, enjoy the fact that there is something for everyone I say 馃憤

Plus when you do some research you realize Hublot watches are insanely well made and very luxurious, I can totally see the appeal even though I will never buy one for myself

I think hate is a bit strong. I was making a joke, but although I don't hate Hublot (or any brand), it's simply not for me.

I agree that some of their designs are a bit tasteless and will, therefore, naturally attract some criticism.

Sorry, I really meant generally.... there is a lot of Hublot hate out there. I think it's because they are a) modern, b) expensive c) not Richard Mille. Plus maybe there is a bit of carry over from the TAG Heuer hate. It's like TAG's more expensive brother.

I don't get why it's perfectly okay for AP to charge a ridiculous amount of money for a steel watch, but not Hublot. Just because they have 'history', well.... so what. You know what, I think the day will come when all this history and heritage aren't going to count for diddly squat, and I don't just mean in the watch world. Kids today don't care about Ferrari, their Gods are Apple and Tesla. And these companies make transient things that won't be around in 75 years.

I can see the similarity in the fine quality craftsmanship in both Hublot and the nicely made watches by TAG Heuer. So getting a TAG Heuer is a great bargain 馃憤 I don't have any animosity towards any brands, and treat them all with mutual respect. I just love TAG Heuer. 馃グ Passion & Purpose ::psy::

I think mainly it's Hublot's nerve at charging the same prices other similar brands do without having 150 years of 'history' to back it up

I wondered about this even before 馃槙 Zenith even has a more "prestigious" past than Hublot so why is Hublot the top tier among the three? I get that you have precious metals, diamonds etc that can make the watch very "luxurious" and "expensive"

Hublot is nice but I'd get a TAG Heuer "Big Bang" tourbillon any day 馃槤
