Good win for Lewis. Again, Albon was miles behind Verstappen, nearly a lap. How can two drivers supposedly in the same car be so far apart?

I am wondering the same thing. Is Max in a totally different league working that car like a magician? Would be interesting to see what Lewis could do in a Red bull for example

Really good start from Max today, too bad Bottas and Racing Stroll did not run into each other in the start... Stroll is now sharing the 5:th position with Albon in the standings. Yes you heard me, Stroll... in.. 5:th....

Last week in Silverstone2, Red Bull was taking care of the tyres better than Mercedes, and in the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya it has been the opposite... 😕

Hamilton is breaking another record with this victory: largest number of podiums in F1 history, with 156... all powered by Mercedes-Benz 😉

Race under total control for Hamilton 👍, with Max in second place 👍, and with Bottas third 😒, who should have finished second with that car!

Without Safety Cars, race results show the strong difference between Mercedes and Max, and the rest... even the fourth was 1 lap behind! 🤦

Hamilton is more leader after racing in Barcelona, and Max is more 2nd in front of Bottas... who was not exactly a Flying Finn today 🤔

And Mercedes is taking more advantage in the Constructor’s standings... with Albon not adding many points to Red Bull, the 2020 constructor’s Title could be for Mercedes many races before the end of the season 😀. In a bad day, Bottas ends third... but Albon usually ends quite behind

FF it was somewhat bearable. Ham toying Ver like a kitten with a mouse. It was all over after lap 1. You guys actually watched the whole race live? There’s no way I’m still spending my Sunday afternoons watching this stuff live. Doesn’t the lack of audience accentuate the sterile nature of modern F1? The highest class of racing produces the lowest level of racing entertainment.

Of course, when your favorite team and driver are in the lead, you are interested and enjoy watching the entire race live 😉

But there were also interesting fights further back, between Sainz, Albon, Norris, Leclerc, Stroll, Ocon... that also animated the race.
Disappointed with Bottas today, but very happy with Hamilton's undeniable victory and with how Mercedes handled the tyre problems they had at Silverstone 👍

As usual Barcelona served up a stunning race...... (sarcasm). Bottas really should be ashamed of himself, has he really signed a multi-year contract as the commentator said? I hope not.

No, only a 1 year contract for 2021

Good, I didn't think they would have given him more than one year...

Sometimes I feel sad for Valterri.. 🙁 This is his ONLY CHANCE to become F1 World Champion given a SUPER COMPETITIVE / DOMINATING racecar!

I wanted him to take the fight to Hamilton but he doesn't have what it takes and in the meantime it's leaving Hamilton with an open goal. Unfortunately the Hamilton/Alonso debacle has made teams wary of having two genuine top flight drivers in one team.

I'd take it back much further than that, to Prost and Senna at least. (On a side note, I don't think Alonso was ever as good as many seem to think he was.)

Shame to see Bottas underperforming, but Lewis is the Terminator of F1. I don't think it's easy being his team mate. I don't think Lewis and Jenson got on either. And the experience totally broke Rosberg!

Sad to see Vettel faltering, hope he can make a comeback. Also sad to see Kimi's career ending like this at the very back of the grid.

Max is excellent though. And Sainz and Norris are coming along very nicely. The future of F1 should be good. I find it hard to warm to LeClerk though, he's not a very interesting driver.

Joining Alfa Romeo is like the “swan song” for Kimi. He knows he won’t win races anymore but he could still enjoy driving. For the love of driving an F1 car. Taking his talents and help setting up the car to the team that entered him to F1 (Sauber) His experience will definitely accelerate the learning curve of the team, engineers, staff etc. I’m happy eventhough he is currently at the back end because I know he had a long illustrious carreer. Having 1 F1 Title with Scuderia Ferrari is enough, something F1 Champions Alonso and Vettel wasn’t able to do. He is a no nonsense guy. Pretty straightforward and talented. I just wish he continues to be part of F1 either as part of a team / owner etc. where we can still continue to see him in the future ahead.

To the coolest (iceman) guy I know in F1 and who was an inspiration in alot of things for me growing up, Formula1, TAG Heuer, Oakley, Ferrari, Toyota, Number 7.
Grazie Kimi! 🥰
