Watched the highlights on Sky1 last night, one or two good moves but, we’ll interest draining quickly even only watching just the highlights? Don’t think I could do a full coverage live programme.
I did mention doing a trackday again to herself and she didn’t say no quite so definitely, got tyres on the last legs and it’s the only way to get any action at our local circuit.
The two Austrian races were good. A lot of context is lost watching the highlights only. Although the price that Sky charges is too high IMO. Hungary would have been better if there had been more rain during the race! I know Lewis and Mercedes are dominating, but I still love F1. Looking forward to seeing some of the more unusual circuits this year, like Mugello.

I can't imagine Ron Dennis EVER allowing the word 'Splunk' to be written on a McLaren.

I thought it might be a “dull” race again but the penultimate lap was a thriller! 👍

Congrats to Mercedes, Red Bull & Ferrari! 😀

Wow! Record-breaking 7th “Hamiltstone” victory 😉

Hamilton has surely made a deal with the devil. Even when he's 'unlucky' it doesn't seem to make any difference! If his engine blows it blows in free practice, or if it ever actually blew in a race I bet it would let go 3 yards from the finish line. Bottas on the other hand....

Red Bull must be kicking themselves, and Max's head must've exploded. Although I guess Max could have had a tyre blow too though... so maybe 2nd + fastest lap was a good decision?

Watched nor taped the race. Hearing Ham even wins on flat tyres I’m relieved. Great hike in the hillside today, will probably do the same next Sunday.

Nooo, next Sunday will be HOT and they have softer tyres! Although I'm betting they're already thinking about making more harder tyres 'on safety grounds'.

But first of all they need to know if flat tyres were because of tyre wear, or because of carbon fiber debris by Kimi’s front wing...

It was a nerve-racking gamble for Hamilton! His front left tire could have literally fell off any moment and ultimately retiring to a DNF while leading the race 😲😲

But again at the post race interview, he was calm and know to what extent the tire can do. Wow! Talk about “tire management” It’s truly a gift of champions! It might have cost him a win then Red Bull and Ferrari will be more lucky. I guess you need more than luck to beat Mercedes 🙄

Max race was just exciting at the start and the last 2 laps and said he was “lonely” 😜 I agree with Red Bull’s call. They don’t know what was happening with Hamilton and knew about it after Max’s box. Leclerc did a good job and had a “lucky” podium again. 😗

I was expecting Vettel from P10 to move up but I guess Ferrari just can’t match Red Bull, Racing Point, Renault & McLaren at this time.. Vettel stayed at 10 😡 Even Gasly went ahead of him! 😵‍💫

Just exciting that the fastest lap point is always up for grabs at the last lap 😁

Yes, Gasly did a good race! 👍
And Vettel stayed at 10... but just thanks to the punctures in Bottas and Sainz tyres at the end of the race, otherwise his position was 12th! 🤦

Yes.. I guess he was also lucky to score a point.. 🤦

Ferrari: lucky podium for Leclerc, lucky point for Vettel

Kimi is set to retire this year 2020.. Good chap and thank you for all your work & memories in F1 (18 years!) Would set the record for most races in F1 this year! I’ve been a fan ever since he started and up to the end. 🥰

He was the “Steve McQueen” for me, King of Cool. Cool as Ice 😎 Iceman. No nonsense racing. Passion for speed. Same favorite lucky 7! Still Ferrari’s last F1 Champion. Because of him, I’m with TAG Heuer Chronographs, Oakley Shades & F1 😎

Raced for Ferrari, McLaren, Lotus, Toyota, etc 👍

Still is F1’s most popular racecar driver 😁

More James Hunt than Steve McQueen surely. Shame he spent the last year of his career driving a *****y Alfa Romeo!

Can't be a proper driver until you've had an Alfa. 😉
