Mine was the F1 Kirium CL111A.BA0700, which I bought in 2004. Still got it and still minty!

My father bought this for my 18th birthday. (1981)

Tag Heuer had it back twice, but gave it back again.
😁

I've lost count of the straps/bracelets its had.

Purchased in 1987. I clearly remember the first time I saw the OG F1s in a store. I wasn't into watches, but the image of Prost's McLaren and all the bright colors captivated me. Hence began my journey with the then newly formed TAG Heuer.

I didn't remember I had gotten it that early. But in looking through an old photo album last year (amid the nostalgia from the KITH release), spotted its first appearance on my wrist during a summer vacation in '87. Which means I got it sometime earlier in the year.

For me it was 2016 when and I was fortunate to be at the 100th Indy 500. There were advertisements hanging all around, even the airport, of TAG Heuer’s special watch celebrating the event. Well I knew then I just had to get one. I never could get my hands on the 100 made skeleton Carrera but I did manage to score one of the 1,000 edition Formula 1 watches. Researching led me to DC’s awesome Calibre 11 website where he had brilliantly reviewed both. After reading ALL of the articles I became fascinated with the whole Heuer catalogue. I’ve been hooked ever since.
