Thanks. Just to be clear though, that isn't my wrist and I don't have a Carrera MP4-12C, yet.

maybe we can get a deal for 2? Like a buy one, get one half price? Is that a thing

One day... I bought the strap from the MP4-12C to go with my McLaren 1974 Edition though.

Did you know... the F1 range has increased in price about 10% since last July? For example, the new Red Bull F1 launched at £1395 and is now £1550...

The price has already gone up, but will it go up again? That’s too bad:whipped:

If TAG HEUER don't improve the quality of watches along with the price increase, the number of super copies will increase rapidly.

Also, the F1 range is now male only, all the ladies pieces have been discontinued, yet we are told the new F1 doesn't come out until next year?

Not surprised, I think we will continue to see an annual price increase of at least 10-15%.

Find out what the COCO picks as their perfect three piece watch collection... thanks to everyone who took part.
Interesting answers. Of course you'd expect to see a TAG Heuer bias but even so, with money no object, I'm surprised by how many chose them over, say, an AP, Patek or Rolex.

What I'm not surprised about is how many people chose "watch of the year", the Ice King 160th silver Carrera, though 😀

Yes, I was surprised at the lack of AP, Patek etc... you'd think the Royal Oak would be a pretty common basic choice wouldn't you?

The APRO is nice in stainless steel but I think it is also a bit cliched. I once tried on a solid gold model with blue dial as they didn't have anything in stainless steel.

I also love the Reverso but there are so many to choose from that I can't settle on a particular model.

With only being able to choose 3 watches, for me the choices needed to be relatively unique (of course none of my choices were genuinely unique) and also provide some variation in complications, materials, colours and look.

The reason why I didn’t choose any of the very high end watches like AP, PP, VC trinity etc is because
1. Have to be realistic, knowing me, I won’t probably spend tons of money for these 🙄 I’ll just buy a nice super car!
2. Doesn’t connect to me in any way. My passion is all about motorports & cars, and none comes closer to Heuer/TAG Heuer. Not even Rolex IMHO 😲
3. Some watches also command a certain lifestyle, a certain outfit or attitude which is really not my cup of tea 😒

Going back to No.1, I can probably spend tons of money for these three 😁 a Heuer Carrera 1158CHN 18K, Heuer Monaco 1133B, or a Heuer Autavia Siffert & Viceroy 😜

I enjoyed the subject, participating and seeing others choices. Everyone approaches this hobby differently and I am intrigued by articles/surveys like this to see how us enthusiasts have fun collecting watches. It would be interesting to see what everyone feels is their “comfortable amount of watches” in their collection.
A three watch collection would be tough for me, 6 to 8 is my comfort zone. I like too be able to wear all “my precious” regularly😀

6-8 here too. Any more and it feels a bit excessive for me and there are pieces I dont wear very much. Although at the moment I'm somewhat towards the upper end (in fact it's 9 if you include my golf GPS watch and 10 if you include the Casio F91w I've "loaned" to my daughter. 😀
