I've just started trimming the collection to try and get to about 3-4 Watches. Offloaded 3 Tags Today and will start getting rid of my other Brands shortly. Thinking to get to 3 really good pieces and a couple of Heuers
The 3 watch collection article by sir Rob @Aquagraph might have influenced you so much sir @Anthony.R Interested on those who will be staying
At the moment I have the Ice King, JH 80th, Monza and Vintage Monza. Moved on the Carrera Elegant, Aquaracer Batman and Limited edition Carrera Calibre 1. Still have the Quartz F1's
Oooh I hope not... I get the concept of quality over quantity, I just seem to have a hard time applying it!
Nothing wrong with it. Just decided that the more mass produced models should have been first to go. Have the Omega Speedy Racing with Orange Highlights incoming so cleared out these 3 first.
Believe me it wasn't easy to part with all 3 to be honest. But I had to do it. I've only worn the Ice King twice and can't remember when I wore the JH80th last.
Is this proof that once you own an Ice King, you decide you don't really need anything else as it's too perfect?
You read all our minds But Anthony wrote he has only worn it twice must be that he wants to preserve it since it is so precious and perfect
Yes, it's the eternal problem isn't it... I feel much the same about wearing my perfect plum dial Kirium.
This is partly the reason I offloaded those 3 today. If I'm not wearing them often may as well not have them.
Didn’t take part cause I thought my post would be too late, turns out I might have had time to join in, but I would have needed to rob Fort Knox to pay up for an ultimate 3 watch collection.
Sometimes I am a little bummed when I notice a new scratch or ding from wearing my watches but the enjoyment of wearing them outweighs it. I try to be careful but it adds character, right? I find these trinkets add interest to my day. To those with a race inspired watch, when wearing it, isn’t your drive that much more enjoyable? Watches dot the I and cross the T for me.
