Free gift was shipped separately when I ordered the Avengers Tower for my Son in December, so there is a chance this might come first.
Good to know. Thanks

A Lego channel I watch on YouTube is going to do a review of the Senna MP4 soon.

I wonder if they will send this gift before February 14th..👎

Lego has failed. My love relationship is under pressure. 🙁

Now I have to buy her a new watch to make up for it! 😗

Be honest. When you first saw it, did you think.... that looks like it costs $400,000.

No no, it looks like a listing on aliexpress, no doubt. Like a Chinese factory trying to do a Hublot.

Another example of creating a backstory just for the sake of selling a proper fugly watch that nobody with any taste would buy.

Case back shows as driven by Ayrton Senna, whereas the article states the case is made up of carbon taken from the stock brake pads from his team. Rather suggests they were new brake pads and so may never have actually been driven by him at all. It might just be poor wording, obviously, but does cast doubt.

Either way, spending 3 years trying to make it water resistant to only 50m was pointless in my view.

Those screws look like the cost 2p as well.
They’re from the packing crate which transported the brake pads which he may have eventually driven.

8 years old and Senna fan. While building he wanted the right clothing and watch old clips of Senna in Monaco and Donington.

I finished my mine too! 😀
It's a great kit, a real pleasure to make! 👍

I made some modifications to mine:
- Added the proper Marlboro, Goodyear & Showa sponsorship decals.
- Added the Marlboro red triangle to the front, a signature look for the Marlboro McLaren. The round curve really bugged me.
- Changed the slope of the upper nose section and windshield. I feel this angle matches the slope of the front nose better. The windshield also lays a little flatter, more like the real car.

To Do's:
- Need to find fatter rear tires, closer to scale. But I'm OK with the skinny rears for now.
- Will add the lower dark blue stripe on Senna's helmet. It only has the upper green stripe.
- Will add "Honda" logos to the RA168E V6 Turbo engine, which looks pretty cool in Lego form.

I'm seriously impressed, Mr. M! 👍
