Hi everyone,

I've made a few hints and comments about the project that I've been working on with TAG Heuer for the last year or so- we're getting close to launch, so if you are intrigued, you may want to top up your watch fund in anticipation of the next ~10 days! The on-sale dates will be published in this thread at least 2-3 days ahead of the sale, so timing won't catch you off-guard.

For the moment, a teaser.....

Uh oh...

I'm guessing these are limited editions of existing watches (Carrera, Autavia, Monaco)?

Modern PVD re-interpretation of a skeleton Heuer01 s/el in 45mm for sure...😉

With a rubber strap?

Not at all, alternate carbon fibre and 18k gold s/el links, with a red alligator backing and a platinum buckle, finished nicely with a lumed TAG logo!

Can you at least assure us it won't be like the hodinkee skipper episode. Nice enough watch but overpriced imho and pounced on by speculators for immediate resale

I can't control who buys it...but the reason that I've posted this ahead of the sale is so that everyone here knows exactly when it will go on sale (when I know that date, it will only be posted here) and so be ready to go if you like it. I truly hope that it's not bought by flippers, but hard to stop.

A fair response.... and I wasn't implying you could do much about it.... more just lamenting what I saw happen there. And grumpy of course that my appetite for watches doesn't match my budget. looking forward to seeing what emerges!

I get it- and it's a fair concern. Nothing would please me more than to see all of the watches owned by the contributors on this forum and the regular Calibre11.com readers.

Personally I love the Telemeter case. I think the original Telemeter and the follow up Hodinkee Skipper and upcoming ‘The Rake’ LE – all show what can be done with such an excellent base. I’m holding off from buying a Telemeter in hopes that a new heritage comes out using the case within the next few weeks – specifically calibre11 Collaboration
