We've got a lot of Senna fans on the forum and lots of Senna related content all over the place. Thought it would be nice to have a dedicated thread for all things Senna. Post anything you like: his watches, his cars, his life, his legend...

I've been trying to track down all of the TAG Heuer watches that Senna wore during his career. Here's what I've found so far.

The most famous is his cream dial S/el ana-digi, which was famously given to his mechanic Ron Pellat at the end of the '93 season. The story was documented on Calibre11.com, which sadly is now gone. But a short version of the story can be found here.
(Senna's actual watch below. Ref. S25.706C)

In addition to the cream dial, Senna wore the dark grey version of this watch just about as often. The dark grey one just doesn't have a "story" to go with it, so it takes a back seat to the cream dial.

Later in his career, Senna switched from the SEL to a white dial 6000 series. During most of the '93 & '94 seasons he is seen wearing this watch.

Most people will probably recognize the top 3 above. However, he's worn many other TAG Heuer watches too.

In early '89, he can be seen wearing this 2000 series chronograph.

He's also worn the Formula 1. (Seen here in 1991.)

Unlike modern F1 drivers of today, Senna wore his watches while racing, not just on the podium. He wore his favorite models all the time, both on and off the track.

In his personal life, he's worn several other TAG models as well.

Such as this SEL on a bracelet (with unknown dial type)...

...and this silver grey dial 6000 on a bracelet.

This 6000 is particularly interesting because when you zoom in, it seems like there's a bit of red by 9 o'clock.

Now it might just be some kind of red glare or artifact on the photo. Or could it be the red "S" of Senna's personal logo? The location is in the same spot as the "S" found on the 6000 Senna Edition watch. Which @Albert-AMG documented in this thread. Could the above watch be a custom 1 of 1 made specifically for Senna?

In addition, I've seen a few pics of Senna wearing watches I can't yet ID.

Like this photo from Portugal in '92. Does anyone know which watch he's wearing?

Or this photo with his girlfriend. Can't quite make out the watch either.

If there are other TAG Heuer watches that you've seen Senna wearing, please chime in. I find trying to identify all of the TAG Heuer watches that he's worn and owned quite interesting. 😀

Wasn't there a photo of Senna on a plane with two of the same cream dial SEL? I think one was on his wrist the other was sitting in a briefcase. Maybe not, you know how unreliable my memory is. 😒

That's it, well done. Not very clear there, but I'm sure in a higher resolution it was clear that he had one on the wrist too. Probably makes sense, why would he only have 1? Battery might run out...
