Yes. It is.... but the s/el is SO much cooler than any Link. Maybe if Senna had worn one someone would care?
I almost pulled the trigger getting this one back in the day. Since I already have a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Chronograph, I thought I might add a TAG Heuer Link but this time with a Calibre S on silver/white dial. As some of you might know, I’m fond of “chronographs” The blue accent is really striking for me and adds more character to the dial. I thought it would be a perfect contrast to my Aquaracer (the Formula 1 won vs the Link and thus my Kimi Silver F1 Chrono) The marketing team did a good job there back then. Tiger Woods at the height of his carreer, TAG Heuer, my favorite watch brand and together with my favorite sports brand Nike all in one poster (I bought that black TW golf cap BTW )
I like the Link. Some of it are iconic. But maybe i just dont like it enough to every own one. I do wish they make the Solar Quartz version of Link and reduce the price. I might seriously consider to own one if they do.
