Nice! Love that you're double wristing with the Panda and Katayama!

How's the tattoo working out for you? Did Antoine issue you your VIP Platinum status for life card yet?

@Anthony. you're going to have a hard time returning to normality, after this week of VIP treatment.

Everyone wanted to take a pic with my Tattoo. Antoine already had a previous shot of it from somewhere.

You are 100% correct mate.
Sydney event last year was amazing but last night was next level. The excitement at the event around TAG Heuer being back was electric.

You deserve it, @Anthony. Your passion for the brand was always clear (before the tattoo!), hope the rest of the weekend is a blast.

Isn’t there a “Boutique” thread?
I was surprised to see a TH Authorized Dealer here in Nassau, Bahamas.
They encouraged me to try on that green titanium Monaco. Naturally it feels quite light compared to heft of a regular one. Was quoted US$11,000 on it.
I also tried on the blue just to be sure of the weight difference. $8,100 for that one, wow! 😮
And lastly I gave the new Formula 1 a wear and found it very comfortable indeed. Had a really striking look with that red strap too. The pushers are barely noticeable which is something new for sure.
In the end I just kept the one that was already on me. 😁

Just to update on the new Formula 1. While it felt fine on my wrist and looked splendid, the red strap is ridiculously short. For me at least. I had to put it on the last adjustment hole. Wish it would be wearable for all. 🙁

A bit surprising. I got the impression the strap was long based on the pic @Jeff Stein shared on his wrist.

TAG has offered some straps in an optional longer size. IIRC, the CAZ Formula1 Gulf's standard strap was on the shorter side, but an optional long size strap could be ordered for it.

Hope u enjoyed your visit on my side of the world...I was the other guy but I did notice your enthusiasm

And I think you misheard or they misquoted the skeleton Monica prices to you--$9300 for racing green same as US and no taxes added afterward

How close were they to getting u to leave with it, I want to let the manager know just for laughs

Well I never considered a purchase or even a sampling of the green Monaco before I went in. But I was quite impressed with how beautiful it looks in person. So I am much closer to putting it on the list now. Well done Mr. Salesman, and please thank him for me! 👍

Been their myself. I would have liked to buy my wife the bright green dialed Aquaracer ladies when it first came out but she couldn't stand it.

@Gene242 its sad that people would come into a busy boutique with the sole purpose of misleading the sales associates to believe that they are interested in purchasing, only to be allowed to take photos which are “strictly forbidden”. And worse, posting them online which could cause the entire boutique staff to be reprimanded. We need to do better as enthusiasts, if the associate is kind enough, we should think of him or her who is left to answer before we post to only satisfy our egos. Every action has an equal or opposite reaction.

Are you saying one should only be allowed to enter the store and try on watches if the intention is to buy during that specific visit? I usually try on watches a couple of times before I buy
