My take away from the convo was if one wants true heritage re-editions, better off to buy vintage.
That's the same impression I got. 🙁

None of that interview bodes well for the future of heritage inspired pieces in my view - what is the point of having a heritage director if he barely talks about heritage any more?

Biver seemed genuinely interested in reaching out and engaging with the Heuer community - Arnault doesn’t seem to give a ****. The closure of Calibre11 speaks volumes in hindsight.

Wow, Biver being held up as the saviour of Heuer, that's unexpected!

I am still not losing faith for a heritage release this year. Hope they don't disappoint!

Well there's that Monza and a JH90....
But will these be heritage re-editions or modern tributes that simply wear a Heuer logo?

E.g. Silver 160th Carrera is what I mean by a re-edition, Green Carrera glassbox is not a re-edition as no such Heuer ever existed.

Well I dunno what the JH90 is but the Monza is definitely no re-edition!

LOL! I won’t hold my breath then…

Please don’t let it be some carbon fibre skeletonised Hublot-esque thing…?

Really? Is there a need to register to activate this or something like that?

Where does it mention that Calibre 11 will be covered? The text on the link below doesn’t seem to indicate that (unless I’m missing something?)

“All models powered by a manufacture movement (Heuer 02, Heuer 02T,TH 30-00, TH 50-00) and purchased from April 1st, 2020, onwards on tagheuer.com, in our boutiques, or at our authorized dealers are eligible for the extension. Watches must be registered online, with a warranty activated by the point of sale or on tagheuer.com. More information can be found on our Warranty detailed page.”
