·Super freakin addiciting. TH should start making helmet watch boxes pronto. I could be swayed into buying a Max F1 that way 🙄
It seemed like Heuer stopped making them around '78 or '79, until TAG brought them back shortly after the acquisition. But the only driver helmet clock was Prost and then they stopped again. Such a shame they didn't continue, so many legendary TAG sponsored drivers between then and now. E.g. Senna, Schumacher, Mika, Kimi, Hamilton, Alonso etc.

·Mai Ikuzawa looking mighty cool next to the 906 in which her father won the ‘67 Japanese GP. She drove it up the hill at Goodwood FoS. Heuer badge on her overalls. Wondering which watch she’s wearing. Her dad was sponsored by and wore Seiko. She’s been seen wearing various TAG Heuers including the Aquaradar. Also has the Bamford Snoopy. So perhaps a Bamford Carrera with Ikuzawa colours? Anyone have a clue?

·Not sure what watch she is wearing but I noticed she has the Hiroshi Fujiwara , Fragment design lighting bolts on her race suit. a pity she’s not wearing the fragment Carrera as that would have gone great with the Heuer logo.

That looks like a 42mm Elegant case Carrera to me. Maybe a collaboration with Bamford?
