Etsy adverts during the GP led me to investigate.... what a load of garbage. Fake watches everywhere.... TAG Heuer with Japanese movement. Also parts for watches £30.... what rubbish you would actually get if you bought those. And then there was this...
There were two phones I think, Meridist and Link, not sure which one this is.... one of them was in the Grand Carrera box made for the 150th Anniversary.
They were also available with different casebacks. My favorite was the Gulf model. I recall seeing it in a TH Boutique back in the day.
Yeah crazy expensive, $5000-$6200 according to this article: https://www.ablogtowatch.com/tag-he...sts-more-that-your-tag-watch-watch-out-vertu/
Very cool. However, the Aquaracer chocolate seems a little out of place in the Heuer Racing themed box. I wonder if TAG Boutiques are offering these now or where did it come from?
Good question, I sent him a question but he seems to speak some kind of china language so we'll see if I get any response
It's Korean. In reading the translation of his post, says he got the watch as a gift from his dad. That's why I'm wondering if a TH Boutique or AD gave the chocolates as part of the purchase. However, it's odd that he didn't post a pic of the watch. Unless the translation is a little off and he really means the chocolate watches were a gift from his dad.
In thinking about it more, TAG Heuer launched their Connected x Porsche watch in Seoul Korea recently. Perhaps the chocolates were made for that event? However the vintage Heuer themed box doesn't match the Connected.
