Very happy the race played out exactly as it should, Albert got to see his heroes on the podium and Max won 👍

Had a great laugh when Alonso stepped down and let Stroll keep the place in front of him, how Alonso politely keeps insulting stroll is so fun to watch this season 😁

What are Merc's chances this weekend Albert? I haven't kept up with the news and the gossip this season, I just tune in to quali and race.

I really don’t know. Yesterday Hamilton was the fastest in FP2 and Russell was 2nd fastest, but they were the latest to make a fast lap on Soft Tyres in that last FP session and the track was improving, so today it could be different. They don’t expect that this track suits the car so well as Barcelona, so the fight with Aston Martin and Ferrari should be harder.
Anyway if it rains (and rain is expected today and maybe tomorrow), it could be totally different, so… 🍿

Doubt it. FIA will not want a tyre war with all the cost implications it brings. Plus actually, tyre wars sucked... since Ferrari had the right tyre and no one else did.

Yes, I also prefer just one tyre brand supplier, otherwise you never know if it’s the best driver/car winning, or just the best tyre, because it could mean a big time advantage per lap vs the other tyre brand, and this is something out of the control of the driver and the team.

Can't help but think Carlos got off lightly, I think they should have deleted his best Q1 time. He royally screwed Gasly and still ended up 11th..

Is that the absolute all time highest number of race wins?

Who had the harder job there? Senna or Verstappen?

Yeah, nobody gets to that kind of number without the best car by a mile and an uncompetitive team mate. Unfortunately thanks to the FIA and their genius rules we will most likely just go from one dominant car/driver to another. In fact it's almost hard to see how any future WDC could only win one championship unless they are the uncompetitive team mate...
