Stupid thing is, what do you think everyone is going to be talking about next weekend.... Russell's first win, KMag's pole, or what an utter douchebag Max is?

Jesus, really? Checo deliberately crashed his RB in Monaco to keep pole and block Max at a time when the WC fight was full on. Yes Max holds grudges and he served the bill in Brazil. Good for him. Haters gonna hate.

It's not like they were asking him to give up a win or a podium.
I don’t really understand it. He’s massively talented, and I’m a big fan but he really does seem to self implode mentally sometimes.

all he’s done here is given those who think he’s a toolbag even more ammo. And it was bloody senseless. Not sure what point he was trying to prove, or why he was so angry. Ok, the penalty was questionable depending on what side of the fence you sit but He’s a 2 time world champ and team lead - he knows that the powers that be would love a 1-2 to go with the 2 championships.

edit - seen the post above now. I get it, but as WC he really needs to be above that.

Admittedly that does put a different slant on it, but... do we actually KNOW that that's the truth? And do we know for sure that Checo crashed deliberately? They are never going to admit it but it did seem a little convenient at the time.... so maybe just did a more convincing job than Schumacher by damaging his car. Hell of a high risk strategy, especially given what happened to LeClerc the year before.

Still, he really should have weighed that one against all the times Perez has helped him and helping the team achieve their goals.

There’s a lot of stuff we don’t KNOW but the Monaco cockpit footage speaks for itself. At the time it was rumoured Marko wanted him out. Might still happen.
Max doesn’t take crap and everyone can feel about that the way they want. We’re not WC. Most of us just debate races every week, not only when our favourite team or driver wins.

Daniel will be reserve driver at RB in 2023.
Hard to take as I dislike Marko and Horner.

Can get exciting if Perez gets sick for a race and we'll see Ricciardo and Max race each other in a couple of Red Bulls again 😗

Wonder what Max said when they told him

Agree.
DR would be hoping for this I'm guessing.
And Marko is cunning enough to shaft Checo in a heart beat

Max has actually done Red Bull a massive favour. By creating new drama he's completely shut down any discussion of the budget cap infringement.

It shows Max hasn’t really attained that level of maturity as a driver. Really a shame. A little humility and little more of team spirit. It’s sad but it is what it is. I hope he can show more he is better than this.

Max driving a near perfect season, best of his career, of anyone’s? One disregard for team orders because his teammate shafted him at Monaco and he’s downgraded to a spoiled and selfish brat again 🙄
Would have loved to see what team order his holiness Hamilton would have accepted had George pulled that stunt at Monaco.

You’re at the top of the world already, Double WDC, and you’ve made your team the constructor’s champion also. Your teammate has helped you several times and you’ve even thanked him repeatedly on public. And you still can’t hang up a conspiracy in qualifying of the Monaco GP? Thus you can’t helped your teammate for a few meager points out of spite? On team orders?

Checo was 3rd while Max was 4th behind the Ferraris at the starting grid in Monaco. Due to Ferrari strategy blunder and consistency by the Red Bulls, they achieved double podium 1-3 with Carlos 2nd. I can’t remember Max trying to make a move to Checo if he so wanted to win Monaco GP. Max has previously won Monaco already so all of this fiasco blaming Monaco quali is too childish for me. I think there are still other reasons behind this. One we might truly never know.

This is the mistake “fans” always make in bringing other drivers into their argument as sone sort of pass. Hamilton or Russell are not involved in it.

I’m a fan of so many drivers and think Max had sone a great job of showing another level to himself this season. His actions towards Lewis and then Perez unfortunately went against what he’d done the rest of the season.

You’re hanging on to the claim Perez crashed deliberately in Monaco, but that’s not confirmed. I can’t explain what occurred in Monaco, but seems odd it would be discussed in the team. Regardless, Max has realised it was not the right thing to do with him constantly mentioning “team” this weekend.

I don’t know how anybody can’t see it was a massive d1ck move given what it potentially impacts…..which is RB taking every honour in 2022.
