Someone on the Planet F1 forum just said 'would I care about this if it was the first race'.... which is a very good point, and by extension, what if Silverstone was the last race. Or Hungary. Can you imagine the outrage if Bottas had decided the title by trashing both Red Bulls!
You are right, Max deserved this title no matter what

Toto and Hamilton won't attend tonight's gala though because of their grievances.

Strange, you would think Hamilton never misses a chance to put on makeup and wear a dress 👎

As pointed out above it doesn’t matter. All season drivers are at the mercy of race direction and stewards with many examples of dubious decisions. Had it happened in Baku it would have blown over. Had Baku happened here, Max would have been ‘robbed of the WC by Pirelli’. It’s always something.
Over the year many decisions and luck went Hamilton’s way. This time it didn’t but Masi nor Max made Latifi crash. With all the festivities tonight Lewis will appear to be a sore loser.

Anyone heard anything from Albert-AMG?
He might be at the ceremony tonight as Merc’s Representative to collect the Constructors trophy.

I had a mate at work who would go awol when Celtic beat Rangers, back after 3 or 4 days when the ‘banter’ had died down.

Sounds like primary school behaviour, man up and show up. Has anyone else skipped previous shows cause were in domination.

I agree. I haven't done an exact count, but overall, it sure feels like Hamilton has had a lot more luck this season compared to Max.

Even if some may question how the call was made to race on the last lap of Abu Dhabi, the fact remains that they raced fair and square on the last lap, Lewis could've still won the race.

More likely, he's chill'n with Toto & Lewis. 😉

TAG Heuer Monaco : At home in the racetrack, blends perfectly well in a gala 😉

Funny stuff, spot on in some cases. LOL

Not a word...

I've spoken to Albert.
He's not happy with what unfolded in the final laps.
One thing that most of you are missing is that Masi made a big mistake regarding the Unlapped cars and when the safety car was called in. This is not in dispute. Hence the FIA have agreed to fully investigate.
I can't see Masi keeping his job beyond this year.
He's made some mistakes this season and it culminated to this Shit show on Sunday.

So ultimately if he had followed proper protocol and not gone Rogue to "Orchestrate a final racing Lap"
Lewis would be Champion and you would all be crying foul.
There had to be a Winner and Loser, either way someone was going to be unhappy.
