Quite unbelievable. He's been saying that for a while now but the numbers just doen't support it. Fastest laps this season are 12 to 5 in favour of Merc. I realize Bottas has been called in a couple of times to steel the fastest lap point away from Max but Lewis was responsible for 6 of the 12...
In Austin Lewis also said RB were faster but he clocked the fastest laps of the race. His fastest was 5 tenths (!) quicker than Max's. They lost on strategy.

this year has been a fairly level shoot out between 2 good teams and drivers. Good to see and I do hope that max does it so there is a bit of a shake up.

·Yeah agreed. It’s great on Twitter. The Hamilton fans all saying, well max has the fastest car etc. didn’t Lewis for the previous 6/7 years with a far greater difference

Good to see RB catch up in the constructors too, will be nice to see them take p1 in Brazil.
Great race! If RB can win the Constructors and Max the Drivers I will be a very happy man! I am sure TH will bring out an extra special edition Red Bull / Max F1 if this happens, and I will be first in line 😁

Rob told me he doubts they will do one but Im with you, I really really wish they release a watch celebrating Max as world champion. Missed opportunity if they dont, right?
Im hoping for a 41mm cal 16 Carrera with a bright orange biiizel, fume looking orange dial (honouring the orange army smoke) and a nive engraved caseback! Polished case. On a perforated racing leather with polished folding clasp.
