Let’s not forget Lewis gave Max a 51G crash! Lewis didn’t bother checking on Max in the hospital if he was okay after celebrating his euphoric win! So I wouldn’t judge anyone right now of being nice or not nice after another horrific crash. It happened. Both are life-threatening and both stepped out okay which is all that matters. Both are competing at the top of motorsports. Do you really expect someone to be nice to you after both of you crashed? Would you take that against him if he wasn’t nice to you?

Someone tackled you in rugby/football. You are fighting inch by inch. Scores are tied. It is the peak of the game. Would you expect your opponent to check on you after your face was thrown and plunged into the ground?

Guys just to be clear! I like Lewis Hamilton as a driver and as a world champion. I’ve repeatedly said his talent as an F1 driver is supreme. He also seems to be a good example and role model.

But now, I’m thinking otherwise. I guess I only like him only when he’s in a racing suit 😲

Max with his Titan Heuer Monaco, team shirt-cap & jeans trumps all fashion for me 😁😜

I’d expect a slap on the back and share a beer in the club house later, but in the heat of battle!
I’m sure blue flags shown to cars leaving the pit lane at my local circuit mean do not interfere with cars on the circuit already at race speed, and do not move over onto the line, that’s the way it seems to work anyway, although the exit does lead onto the braking zone for a 90 right over a downhill crest not a very high speed approach to a chicane.
It’s done now, the truth may come out in the future in someone’s biography but until then.

When there was the incident between the two at Silverstone, Lewis immediately asked over the radio if Max was okay. He obviously didn't have Max under him to go check on him personally... and he certainly didn't say on the radio "that's what happens to Max for closing the door too late on me."

Lewis knew Max was fine when he celebrated his victory, and also didn't know Max was in the hospital for a precautionary checkup until after the podium ceremony. It is not comparable to what Max did in Monza, both for his comment on the radio, and for walking away without checking if Lewis was okay after being under his car.

And seeing how Lewis's neck was hours later, possibly this accident has more physical consequences for Lewis than Silverstone had for Max

Is that post head knock? Not the normal gentleman’s attire in the places I go, and SWMBO wouldn’t let me out the front door like that, honestly, does he do it for attention, feeling insecure Lewis?

I’ll bury these two incidents and move on to the next races. It’s not healthy anymore discussing very ambiguous details 😁 We have clearly shown how passionate we are when we are watching F1 and I thank you guys for your inputs 👍 All that matters to me is that everyone here loves TAG Heuer and that is more than enough for me 🥰 (and whoever wins WDC 😉)

Whilst I have seen various people on social media calling for Max to be banned for not checking up on Lewis, I haven't seen Lewis or Mercedes criticising Max for that. Remember the fuss Max and Red Bull made of Lewis' behaviour after the Silverstone crash?

When I saw this pic, I had to checked if this is just photoshop or something.. 😲 a part of me doesn’t want to believe in this, but I’ve verified and this is true 🤦 I’m quite speechless..

I am guessing he went to a wedding, someone said "bride or groom?" to him and he misunderstood slightly.

I just hope Hamilton has finally learnt his lesson, whenever he is in a close fight with Max he needs to back out and let Max by. This way everyone stays happy and can enjoy Max becoming world champion.

This will probably in the list of TOP double DNFs of Title Rivalries of All Time. Remember Prost vs Senna @ Suzuka 😉

Fair enough. Still, a slightly different tone to that of Max (and Horner) after Silverstone.

"Obviously very disappointed with being taken out like this. The penalty given does not help us in any way and doesn't do justice to the dangerous move Lewis made on track. Watching the celebrations after the race while still in hospital is disrespectful and unsportsmanlike behaviour but we move on."

I don't think he wanted to cause a crash, because like Yago says with Hamilton's incessant luck Max would probably end up in the gravel and Lewis would carry on and then the safety car would somehow elevate Hamilton to first. 🙄

We’re off to the BTCC meeting this weekend in Yorkshire, I know the Hamilton family member racing there will be more approachable, unlikely to win or even get points but hey ho he’ll get as much out of it anyway. Sure I’ll updated on the F1 on here if I feel the need.

Lewis just told he was 'surprised':
Lewis had his engine running, was moving around and trying to back out to continue his race. No need to check his condition me thinks. His ‘surprise’ is hardly genuine. Maybe he expected Max to give him a push?

For me it is not a valid excuse. Max had just landed on top of Lewis's head, and the damage to the Mercedes cockpit was clearly visible. It would not have cost him anything to come closer and check if Hamilton was okay... that gesture (the absence of it) plus the phrase that Max had just said on the radio 'That’s what you get when you don’t leave the space'… I just don't like this kind of behaviour. Max has disappointed me, so the Monaco Titan has lost a lot of appeal to me 😉

So my favorite watch brand is sponsoring a driver I don't like now, and a footballer I don't like (CR7) 👎… luckily Senna's positive influence is stronger! 🙄

Good point. I wonder if Max even knew how far over the car he went?

Are they sponsoring Ronaldo? I thought he was with someone else?
