I can imagine, is it those crazy commentators they also have on the official F1 youtube race summary videos? Swedish commentators are calm and nice to listen to, more like golf commentators
I like Sweden a LOT, I lived there as a student. I love the stoicism, and I am crazy for Swedish Death Metal! And Swedish girls are gorgeous🥰

Super clear it was Hamilton's fault, deliberately taking out Max by leaving him no room 😉
Pretty opportunist move by Max. Lewis should leave enough space and maybe he didn’t. Ham still had to steer in for the second part of the chicane so not easy. Seems like the curb swooped Max on top of Lewis.

Max should have checked if Lewis was ok. Top of the car was totalled. Not very nice.
I feel this is a 70-30 fault on Max. He was bummed about the botched pitstop and his temperament got the better of him when he made the move.

I was out this afternoon but just watched the highlights. Not a clear-cut incident - I would apportion some blame to both drivers. You could say Verstappen was entitled to some space, but I know from racing Monza on sims that you can really attack through those chicanes.

I'm just glad to see a McLaren 1-2, though. First team that have managed it this year as well!

Only seen the short footage of the incident but it looked like LH came from the pit line after the white line and moved over on MV as they approached the chicane, to encourage him to give way no doubt, of course Max didn’t and at the second half of the chicane Lewis took as much room as possible, I suggest Max wasn’t expecting LH to be so forceful or he would have skipped the corner, it doesn’t need a lot of contact from one of the big kerbs to sent a car off course, and the inevitable contact happened, could have been broken suspension and trip to the gravel but no, wheel contact sent the Red Bull up and it came down in the worst place, blame on both sides but I’m not qualified to apportion that, this will be spoken about for a long long time, we can only trust the stewards to be impartial.

Nice one Honey badger, love that happy smile, fine finish for Norris too, McLaren team will head off contented tonight.

Totally agree! And also the Stewards of the Meeting: Max handed 3-place grid drop for Sochi and two penalty points in his licence. It’s well explained here:

I fully agree with the Steward’s decission this time

I also agree that it was not nice to park over Hamilton's head, and then walk away without going to check if Hamilton -still in the car- was okay… thanks HALO!

OTOH, it was nice to see a 1-2-3 for Mercedes engines on the podium 😉
Nice race for both McLaren-Mercedes 👍, and also a nice comeback for Bottas from last place in the grid to the podium, helping Mercedes to increase the lead in the Constructor’s standings by 8 points more than before Monza. So Max is leading by 5 points, and Mercedes by 18 points. What an amazing season!

Yes, this country sure is wonderful! Except the granade attacks, bombs and European record in public shootings 🙄

How long since you lived here?

Your judgent is obviously blinded by your Hamilton obsession, I cant have a proper discussion when you're in this mindset 🙄

Lol. I don't really like Hamilton that much, in fact I think he's a bit of a t**. I am more of a fan of Russell and Norris, although I will admit Hamilton is a great driver and I want him to win the championship more than Max.

The moment these two are together, side by side, expect they’ll bump one another. 🙄

In Silverstone, Max suffered a terrible DNF when Lewis bumped him in Turn 1. 51G! While in Monza, Lewis crashed with Max’s rear tire over his Halo & Helmet, both DNF. It was very evident Lewis was squeezing Max towards the edge as he comes out rushing from the pitlane. I’ll call it Lewis fault. But then again, Lewis is super lucky again. He’s doing okay after a horrific crash and lucky to be at the side of the FIA again 😗
HAM: 10 second penalty vs VER: 3 grid place penalty 😵‍💫

Just remembering: Hamilton passed Verstappen in the first lap. They were in the same situation in the second chicane, and Hamilton backed off.
