路The car already uses a Gulf themed livery, but it's historical to the colors of the original Bruce McLaren x Gulf race cars. That's why the team uses it as opposed to livery made famous by the JWA race cars, first with the Ford GT40 and then with Porsche.
Which is obviously 100% effective as I didn't even notice.... what a waste of money. Does it even say GULF on the car? I can't see it. Or am I totally blind?

The Gulf x McLaren partnership is more evident on the pit crew.

路LOL. Yes, Gulf has sponsored McLaren since last year. But the logo can get lost on their normal livery, so I don't blame you for missing it. I guess they expect when people see the papaya (McLaren's) orange and blue they'll know it's Gulf. Apparently not! 馃檮
The Gulf x McLaren partnership is more evident on the pit crew.
I think because the McLaren was orange anyway, and that blue doesn't scream Gulf to me at all...
