I have a Autavia 11630MH (orange) with a post sale small stainless bracelet
I want to replace this and as an original beads of rice is just ridiculous money I would be interested in suggestions based on what you may have seen
Modern BoR copy , thick leather, black vintage look leather?
Also is it worth adding a Heuer buckle?
Thanks for your help

Hello Roger - I think you're on the right way already.
Original BoR are surely all the rage but they are so expensive it's questionable whether it makes sense.
Replacement / modern-copy BoR are an option but like the original ones they have hollow end-links so they tend to sag at the link junction after a while. Luckily Cal.12 Autavias look good on the vast majority of straps.
My suggestion is to get hold of a racing strap with small holes and ideally one with orange accents that match the dial.
I have made a similar combo on my 510.500 (black dial with orange chrono hands) and I love it.
A (modern) Heuer buckle would then be the icing on the cake.
Cheers,
Fabrizio
