My copy of the book "100 Senna" arrived. I took a picture of the full two pages with his watch, 6000 Series WH1151, for those that care to read the accompanying text.
Did you like the book 😉?

Yes, I love the book! Thank you again for bringing it to our attention.

It has beautiful photographs and what makes it most interesting is to see the actual real items own by Ayrton. Probably the next best thing to visiting some kind of exhibit put on by the Senna Foundation.

However, I do feel the book is too expensive for the given content. Nevertheless, as a diehard Senna fan, I'm quite happy I bought it!

Senna fans reading this thread will be interested in the fantastic posting by @Mspeedster -- The Definitive Guide to Ayrton Senna's Watches, published on April 29, 2025. This posting compiles much of the information in this thread to present a detailed history of the watches that Senna wore during his Formula 1 career, 1984 to 1994. The posting presents over 60 images, including new photos of many of Senna's watches.

Well done @Mspeedster!!

Jeff

A few more pics of my latest Senna watch addition. Senna's Seiko A781 Racing Master, worn during the last 6 races of the 1988 season.

I like this picture, taken at the Italian GP '88, because it also shows the McLaren crew wearing the TAG Heuer Formula 1 385.513 team watch while Senna wears his Seiko. LOL
A clear shot of the Seiko at the Spanish GP '88.

Even after Senna started wearing TAG Heuer in 1989, he continued to wear the Seiko while training and for fun. Seen here in 1991, the Seiko A781 on his right wrist and a CIC "The Trainer" heart rate monitor on his left wrist (model 8863).

Also from 1991, Senna having fun on his boat, wearing his Seiko A781. (I can tell by the strap.)

I found a NOS condition CIC 8863 Heart rate monitor to pair with my Senna Seiko A781. Now my Senna "Training Set" is complete! 🏃‍♂️😁
