Who wears shirts these days?
Not me. Haven't worn a shirt in about a year I'd say.

Me when it’s cold and I need long sleeves, but not often otherwise.

Do you guys wear t-shirt in meetings or what? 🤦
T-shirt with a nice sweatshirt/jumper over the top. Meetings all on Zoom. Our office has been casual dress for a while anyway, even before covid.

Congratulations! Awesome watch👍
Thanks, gents! Here’s a real life photo on the way to the office. Shirt optional.

I see. I always put on a shirt to get into work mode and everyone dresses basically the same as usual even though all meetings are online. Dont wear a sportscoat (that thing you wear on top of shirt?, sorry bad Eng) all day at home though, only for certain meetings.

Still not sure I prefer the white chapter ring to the black...I still think white would have been better

Possibly, but for me it's a minor detail. The watch looks good either way. I think it would have mattered more if it was meant to be a faithful 36mm handwinding replica, whereas it's really more of a homage piece.

If anyone wants one, the dealer Adam Golden of “Menta Watches” just posted that he has one for sale. He mentioned that he’s looking for $1K over retail. Hopefully I’m not violating any forum rules by putting this here. FWIW, I have no connections (financial or otherwise) to him.

Yes, this is my only gripe. Wish it was white, but it is excellent in the metal overall.

However re: the dial, it is so flat black it's really fun to look at in the light. Someone awesome mentioned that it looks "vantablack" to me. It's pretty cool.

Strap seems a little light and thinner than I thought, but I plan on changing that soon anyway.

Assuming the strap is the same croc strap as you get on the 160th, it's 2mm thick as opposed to the 3mm rally style calfskin straps you normally get with the Carrera. The clasp is also different to match and not as well made as the 3mm version imo. Both Jim's and mine come undone when pressing only one of the buttons. I have switched up to the 3mm rally strap and clasp and it's a massive improvement.

Is there a specific place where you guys purchase your Heuer 3mm clasps from? Is it something a dealer carries?

I measured it, 11% off
Oh man, you guys are serious detail hounds! I'm going to freely admit that I'm out-gunned here! 😁
