Air Time: Watches Inspired by Aviation, Aeronautics, and Pilots is now up for pre-order at Amazon (and possibly other places too):
* US - https://www.amazon.com/Air-Time-Inspired-Aviation-Aeronautics/dp/0847869660;
* AU - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/0847869660/.
The AU site says that it is 'Temporarily out of stock' whereas the US site states it is a 'Pre-order' and gives the release date.
I have ordered my copy and, for once, the AU price, $99.95, is very competitive compared with the US RRP of $85.

The two covers on top are the ones that I have
(Sea Time & Drive Time) 👍
Take note of the Drive Time Expanded Edition front cover were a Heuer Autavia Re-Edition was clearly seen at the mirror of the convertible 😉 All in all, I’m just super glad that Heuer/TAG Heuer chronographs were featured in these two books.
PS: Sir @Jim Dollares ’s TAG Heuer Formula 1 Red Bull can also be seen in the book 😎
🙄
This was his racing overalls and helmet for the Paris-Bercy karting indoor race at the end of 1993. Not a McLaren driver anymore, not yet a Williams driver... just a TAG Heuer driver 👍
Nice Pit garage display for 24h races, for sale at ebay
Snagged a copy of the Autavia: Story of an Icon book (ostensibly still shrinkwrapped)... really shouldn't start a book collection, though. Hopefully it arrives in good condition.
