Another Heuer helmet, this one is exceptionally cool and for motorcycilst forum members. Made by Airborn in France this might be something collectible to a certain forum member here..
Auction starts at $399 on ebay.

After asking for over 5 years today I finally got a Monaco Clock.
This one fell off the wall at the Boutique and was destined for the scrap heap. When i was asked if I would like it I jumped at the chance.
Returned home and fixed it within a couple of hours. Looks like brand new and takes pride of place in the kitchen. So very appreciative to my Boutique staff. The absolute best people in the business.

Very cool! Does the running seconds hand work? Or does the chrono hand move in its place?

Both Subdial hands are fixed as is the running seconds. The chrono hand moves as the second hand. Just battery operated like the Helmet clocks. The seconds hand is actually really smooth.
I can see it from my longe room recliner. Can't stop looking at it. Lol.

Awesome. The real Monaco wall clock, unlike those nonsense pieces you see floating around

Looks amazing!! Congratulations.

I've always been curious what the movements look like in these clocks. Assuming that they are a lot more sophisticated looking than the ones we see in the smaller, less expensive wall clocks. Do you happen to have any photos?

Thanks,

Jeff

I would have expected the same thing Jeff.
But believe it or not it's the exact same as a cheap wall clock. The only difference is the hands are probably custom made to reflect the Monaco. I will open it again for a pic later. For now I've found a pic of how it looks.

Will definitely pick one up - although reluctant to get it through Amazon, as their packaging for The Race Never Stops was so bad I sent one back and ended up getting the replacement for half price.

I bought a hardback book from Amazon a week ago and it came with the envelope flap glued to the book. Useless.

Bit big for my wrist, but wears smaller than the 80mm case might suggest.
Were you the one who bought it off Vinted 😛
