What do you guys do with this book? I bought mine then wrapped it in a pillowcase and stashed it under the bed. Nowhere to put it and that felty cover was just asking for damage. Eventually sold it cos it was under the bed for three years
No look, it's not pointless. But it's pointless if it lives under the bed wrapped in a pillowcase. I guess if you have a nice big coffee table and no cats then awesome, but I don't.
Actually I do have a big coffee table, but it's in the corner and that book... I dunno what the cover is made of but it might as well be suede, I wouldn't want either of my cats (especially the white one) sitting on it! And it's far too tall for a book shelf....
Awesome, congrats!!! I've always wanted the Lauda helmet clock, but could never bring myself to pay the kind of money these things go for.
I kept all the packaging for the book with full hope to sell it off again. I was hoping tlfor a smaller book to come which can atleast fit in a regular book shelf. Clearly that's not the case
Congrats on the book! Got mine back when it was first released to celebrate 150 years. Very nice picture book; probably better suited to layout on a coffee table, but it does fit in my bookcase. I've got several shelves that I spaced specifically for large books like that one.
I've got one copy still in the original cardboard box it came in stored away and another in the bookshelf for looking through from time to time.
And you got a helmet in really nice condition too. It's gonna make for a great duo with your black Montreal, congrats!
Ordered a TH branded springbar tool on the Tagheuer site, only paid 10 bucks with free shipping, but they outdid themselves on the packaging as this is what I got, the kicker is they use DHL Express, LOL; https://www.tagheuer.com/nl/en/timepieces/discover/accessories/no-size/OB5006.html
https://www.tagheuer.com/gb/en/timepieces/discover/accessories/no-size/OB5006.html This must be a mistake...
Yeah, and with Omega you order a strap online before you get the possibility to add the tool, surprised I could order this stand alone. A letterbox package would have been sufficient.
