The pushers look great to me. Functional, easy to use, not overly fussy and a good mix of classic and modern. Agree that the crown is too fat, though.

I suspect the pushers are what's giving the traditionalists here a feeling of 'comfort' with this watch.::stirthepot::

I'm not keen on the mushroom pushers. AFAIK no vintage 'wrist' Heuers used mushroom pushers, so out of principle I don't like them. And I did notice the sticky-out crown. Something on that right-hand side is just asking to be knocked off on a door-way.

Treading on dangerous ground calling these 'Heritage' I think David... 😒
Yes, if they labelled them 'heritage' they would have to use the 'Heuer' logo, right?

There must be a view that 80 hours power reserve is an important selling message. Most punters would be told that it's an inhouse movement and think "so what?". This actually gives a reason for valuing the movement.
In the reviews of the Heuer 02 movement the 80 hour power reserve was positively emphasized. So I reasoned, that this is something unusual for a chronograph in this price range.

Like how the black has a date wheel same colour as the dial. Wish they all did.

How about Carrera “Exclusive”, Carrera “Class”, Carrera “Formal”, Carrera “Deluxe”, Carrera “Style”

Sorry I’m just joking 😜 Just trying to find a better word for “Elegant” to match a wording for this NEW 42mm Carrera. Carrera Sports is the right word for the 44mm. Any other ideas? Oxford’s list below 😉

The word “Elegant” was purposedly deleted in some articles I’ve read. Probably it should be just “Carrera” 👍

The TAG Heuer 42mm Decorous Carrera has a nice ring to it.

I’ve missed out getting a Carrera Calibre 1887 41mm before since I opted for 2x 43mm, the sporty (ceramic bezel) and classy (dress watch) Calibre 1887. I’ve been wanting to get a 41mm Calibre 1887 in white dial but these new release seem to make me change my mind 😉

Carrera Sport vs Carrera Elegant?
There was a time when TAG Heuer put both names and adjectives to a single model 🙄

I dislike too much text on the dial- but if they were going to put in anywhere, I think they've chosen the right spot on the dial. There must be a view that 80 hours power reserve is an important selling message. Most punters would be told that it's an inhouse movement and think "so what?". This actually gives a reason for valuing the movement.

The Heuer 02 movement has the longest power reserve of any current automatic chronograph calibre, so it's logical to highlight that fact.

Heuer 02: 80 hours
Rolex 4130 (2016 Daytona): 72 hours
Hublot Unico (current Big Bang): 72 hours (+flyback)
Breitling B01 (2020 Chronomat): 70 hours
Audemars Piguet 4401 (2019 Code 11.59 Chrono): 70 hours
Jaeger-Lecoultre 751H (2018 Polaris): 65 hours
Czapek & Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier SXH3 (2018 Faubourg de Cracovie): 65 hours
Zenith El Primero 2 (2019 Chronomaster 2): 60 hours
Omega 9900 (2017 Speedmaster Racing): 60 hours
Bulgari BVL 318 (2019 Octo Finissimo Chrono GMT): 55 hours (+GMT, thinnest automatic chrono)
Patek Philippe CH 28-520 C (2018 Aquanaut): 55 hours
H Moser et Cie & Agenhor HMC 902 (2020 Streamliner Chrono): 54 hours (+flyback)
Blancpain F385 (2014 Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe): 50 hours
Breguet 584Q/2 (2016 Type XXI 3817): 48 hours
ETA 7750/7753: 48 hours
IWC 69355 (2020 Portugieser): 46 hours

Maybe. The last Carrera Heritage series used the TAG Heuer logo
