Happy birthday Mr. Heuer! A few shots of the LE Jack Heuer 88th Birthday edition, and a look back at previous Jack Heuer editions https://www.calibre11.com/tag-heuer-carrera-jack-heuer-birthday-gold-limited-edition-first-look/
Happy Birthday sir Jack William Edouard Heuer! A true icon in the Swiss Watch Industry! His passion and perseverance made what TAG Heuer is today! Thanks for sharing your autobiography for everyone to read (download) and truly appreciate
Great article One suggestion for editing: the CV2113 JH is not exactly the same as the standard CV21113. Apart from the limited edition numbering and signature on the caseback it also has a tachy scale
Good spot! Thanks. Photo from Monochrome: https://monochrome-watches.com/tag-...r-birthday-gold-limited-edition-review-price/
That’s very nice, but, actually I think I prefer his own favourite shown alongside it in one pictures, l/h crown and neater pushers.
I can’t see that as sideways 88 but as two infinity signs, if they didn’t want to put 88 on the dial what about in Roman numerals? LXXXVIII, looks equally strange.
Ha ha. Well it is only fair to admire good work in honour of a legend. But alas, my budget for 2020 is spent, and as much as I can hope, I doubt this one will appear on your blog in a few times (New Arrivals at BV). As nice as it is, I still think I would have got the Montreal/166 route had all 3 been available at once. Interesting how the gold looks much lighter in colour in different colours. I thought I had read initially that it was going to be an US only model, and at least a Boutique only model, but seems available to buy online via the UK TH website!
As you all know, I love rose gold watches- and the colour combo on this one is spot on. Would love one, but the price is too rich for me
it is high. i’m glad in a way, as it is high enough to make it a rethink before pulling trigger. hopefully there’ll be a 90th equally elegant.
The price is within reason for such a limited & collectable 18k gold watch. But I just can't spend that kind of money on a watch. Heck, I even feel guilty spending 5k on a watch.
Pricewise this would be on the same level as the Zenith el primero A386 18K 50th anniversary, I would know which one to get for that kind of money. WG please including the 50 year warranty and periodic services included.
yes I think that’s quite fair. Especially given the very limited numbers. If it was regular production then it would be available for 40% off in a few years. But this one will fair much better given likely high demand and small supply.
Same here. I did it 2 times (5k+) and it felt good and that's it. More would be greedy. Where did I see that preowned Carrera H02 in black and rosegold for 4.9k again...? Hahaha!
