Thanks for the feedback. When you really look at the logo it's definitely not crisp, so I am pretty convinced it's fake.

As a rule of thumb if you can't find it on the internet, then it's immediately questionable. Still I've seen a LOT worse.

Yeah, I haven't been able to find another example of this model/face/color combination anywhere on the internet, save a replica shop. I contacted the seller, he came up with an excuse about the band being exchanged and then pulled the listing.

Bullet officially dodged. Thanks for your help.

Ok you guys were so helpful before. I essentially just bought this one off ebay but haven't paid. I made an extreme low ball offered and it was accepted immediately and that makes me nervous. I offered $460 which would be well below any of these I've seen

Here are the pics including the movement. Does this look kosher to the experts eyes?

Can you post bigger pictures? These are too small.

Heres a close up of the movement. Not the best pic. :/ ignore the text, that is just artifacting from the snipit tool

Here is a close up of the back. Also there was something in the first face close up that bothered me with the logo. There appeared to be a white speck between the arrows of the 'G' in Tag but a pic from a different angle shows thats probably an imperfection with the crystal.

It's genuine. Price seems not unbelievable. One sold on Tag Exchange for 499 GBP recently.

Yeah I just found a video of the movement on youtube and it seems to be a perfect match. Thanks for the help!! I'm stoked. My first Tag. And I'm just in love with the panda face.

Nice first piece, are you going to replace the bezel?

I'm not sure.... One of my favorite features about this watch is the vintage look. I'm afraid a new bezel will ruin that look...

I'm a bit of a vintage fan. My first real watch was/is a 1978 Rolex Submariner. The next vintage watch I really want is a 60's era Breitling Navitimer. But my favorite vintage watch of all time is the Paul Newman Rolex Daytona. That watch is 6 digits so... no. But this Tag Formula 1 has the vintage feel I'm looking for, a very reasonable price and the pedigree of a Tag Heuer. I wish it was an automatic... but c'est la vie... wouldn't be that cheap if it were...

Anyway... I'm excited to join the Tag clan.

Hmm, maybe... but it will soon get scuffed again. Depends how you feel about that sort of thing. I'm a bit the other way (if you know what I mean).😉

If I were so inclined to replace the bezel, where might e the best place to look for a bezel?

Well... eBay obviously but also TAG themselves apparently have more spares than you might think...
