Case closed guys thanks y’all for help. I just found the International Warranty card. Unfortunately the seller gave me the manual and the card from another watch bought by him at the same time. Happy now 😀

First digit in serial number = 1 that equals Quartz movement. 2 is automatic. So def wrong serial for being equipped with an auto movement.

This one confuses me. It has the old dial and old logo, listing claims WAR201D. However, the case finish is unfamiliar to me, this reference is supposed to have a fully high polished case (as far as I know, someone please correct me if I am wrong). Perhaps the previous owner didn't like a fully polished look and had the sides of the case worked on.

Eeehm ok so I look at the TAG Heuer watches available on their website and can't say that this feels like a particularily trustworthy place. Plenty of commonly faked models and some things really stand out. Like this Alec Monopoly watch limited to 200 pieces, released about 7 years ago and sold out a very long time ago. These watches trade for way more on the used market, how 'Swiss gallery' are able to still offer it brand new at this price makes no sense. Either they haven't updated their catalogue in more than five years or something shady is going on. This watch is shown on page one when I click TAG Heuer on their website...

Hey guys. On WUS someone posted about a recently acquired F1 chronograph with weak lume. I noticed that the watch looks like a fake, but nobody else seemed to pick up on that. Take a look at the bezel - the word "Tachymetre" is not centered properly - it's too far to the right (closer to "240" and too far away from"60"). Am I off base here? I wanted to warn the person so they can return it, but I think I'm just trying to push a wet noodle up a hill. LOL. There's just too many fakes out there and too many unaware buyers...
