Ebay gives you 60 days to leave a review. How many people realise they have a fake within 60 days?
What happens is that these replicas are very well done, it's not the first aquaracer I have... the click I did when the brooch did not close well and the seller sent me a replacement brooch ... there I started to investigate and I found the serial number... now well... then I bought another aquaracer (the new line in blue) and I sent it to authenticate by Ebay for 80 dollars... since I bought it relatively cheap ... I passed they authenticated it without problem ... I think the wbp201 are not yet replicated ... but you have to be very careful with Ebay, because surely there are sellers who do not know that they have replicas in their possession,It is preferable to spend the 80 dollars and have it checked

I wouldn’t rely on eBay’s authenticity service for TAG Heuer watches. We’ve seen evidence of them authenticating fake TAG Aquaracers and F1s (at least the posters claim they did). Even ADs seem to be unreliable with masking a call these models.

@Jony85 - sorry but that watch looks fake. Others may comment here, but the lume pip is definitely wrong.

@Jony85 - Lo siento, pero ese reloj parece falso. Otros pueden comentar aquí, pero el lume pip definitivamente está mal.
Then I attach more images so that the lume pip can be seen better, as the detail is not fully visible in the attached photos. Is there any sample on the photo forum of the fake lume to check differences?

Now I don't understand Tag Heuer's policy about counterfeits, if all of you just looking at the bezel and Lume pipe realize that it's fake, because tag doesn't put two or three people looking for these counterfeits and remove them from the lists ...

It is probably insanely difficult to stop ebay, they are making huge amounts of money being part of the global counterfit goods market

Yes, you are presuming eBay want to co-operate. This would cost them a fortune in lost revenue, much easier to start their own authentication service which I'm pretty sure will end up being charged for at some point. They are well aware that they majority of fakes are in the lower regions - it makes sense, far more people are prepared to pay up to a grand to buy a watch than over £1500 so that's where the fakes are pitched. But can you imagine the work in checking every watch sold on eBay over £750?

Thanks for your reply. In the photos that I have sent it is not seen very well due to the focus. But after your response I will send the watch to TagHeuer so they can verify it. It gave me confidence to have the papers sealed and the data to be the same as on the website.

By all means, do what you feel works best for you. However, if there's a time limit for you to return the watch, then I'd return it ASAP. Also, when you state you will send the watch to Tag Heuer, don't just go to an AD. You want to send it to TAG Heuer Customer Service and have one of their technicians examine the watch and movement. This could take up valuable time.

Some other information that you did not include is where you purchased the watch from (e.g. eBay, Chrono24, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) and how much. If you ended up with a "good deal", this is also a red flag unfortunately.

Good luck and thanks for sharing.

EDIT - some additional suggestions:

I also see that you have a warranty card stamped with the AD and original date of purchase. Why don't you contact that AD and verify that they sold that watch?

Also, I see the photo of the instruction booklet is covered by the warranty card. Is the instruction booklet correct for your watch? Fakes are notorious for providing the incorrect instruction booklet (e.g. if the instruction booklet is for a quartz chronograph, then that would be a red flag as well).

If you run the serial RTM8636 through Tag's guarantee check and look at the "hidden" details you can see that it was sold at
SIMMONS FINE JEWELRY at address 1220 N. OLIVE AVENUE, 83642, Meridian, US and not at christ uhren & schmuck rudolf diesel-str. 25 8404 winterthur as the card says.
The purchase date is indeed 2019-08-01, but if the card is a fake then they would choose a date that matches the serial number, so it makes sense.

Hello guys, what do you think about this one? Is it genuine or fake ? I just saw that the manual received is for QUARTS WATCHES and I think that could be a fake... I also registered the watch on TAG HEUER website without any issues. Thanks in advance!

You say the included manual was for a quartz watch?
I see that you have a precious stone certificate for a watch that has no precious stones.
Seems sketchy to me.

I think this model is not yet being replicated ... it's weird .. the watch looks authentic but the certificate and the manual don't...
