Comparing with the render on the TH website there's nothing glaringly wrong. But against that this is another one of those commonly faked models so if you are not sure in your own mind I would give it a miss. This watch retails for £1800, so if it's too cheap that could be a bad sign.

I find the CAZ1010 (with the black PVD bezel) to be difficult to tell fakes from real. Check the movement and bracelet pins if you can. As @Aquagraph said, if you got it cheap that should be a red flag.

Bracelet pins are not going to be a tell on std F1 bracelet. Movent will give a more good indication.

I’ve recently purchased a Tag Heuer Aquaracer from a small online shop, after reading all the comments on here about how prevalent the fakes are I thought I’d just check as warranty cards aren’t fool proof. The watch came with full box, papers & even a eBay authentication card which is strange as it wasn’t purchased from eBay? I’ve checked the pin & collar in the bracelet & they seem to be correct as the original Tag ones. I’d really appreciate some feedback as it’s playing on my mind now.

Given the recent discussions about the validity of TagHeuers on eBay, I wanted to get the brain trust's opinion on this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186320473124

Is that watch legit?
I am no expert by any means, but it looks like an identical match to another ebay auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/285765485726

So, I would have to say they're either both real or or both fakes from the same source.

Hello everyone, saw this recently, need to get some second opinions and/or clarifications if this is an original piece or just some replica.

Hello everyone, Reddit told me this would be a better place to ask this.

I just bought my first Tag (WV211D) from a dealer I’ve bought other vintage watches before.

Someone in Reddit told me it was fake because it doesn’t show up in Tag warranty page BUT I’ve been looking various models in chrono24 and my dad very much OG tag bought directly from the boutique and 90% don’t show up either so I don’t really trust that page

I know the ref model exists but now I have the bug inside about it being original or not.

I don’t have box or papers

Don't get hung up on whether a TAG Heuer serial number "shows up" on a warranty page. This is notoriously unreliable. There will be many genuine watches whose SN doesn't show up, and many fake watches whose SN do show up! The best thing you can do is buy the seller and do your research on the model you are interested in. From the photos, I don't see anything wrong with that Carerra, but I'm not that familiar with that series.

That watch should have a silver dial based on the reference number on the caseback (WAF1112).That watch has a black dial, so the reference number should be WAF1110. So at a minimum, it's a Franken watch.

Very nice watch, and you got it at a very nice price (found your Reddit post). I've been looking for one of those for a little while, but haven't found one yet at a price close to yours yet. From what I've seen, your watch looks real, but take that with a huge grain of salt because I am not an expert.

As an aside, since I have been looking for one of those, I have found one watch for sale on ebay in five different auctions, all at different prices. Plus, the same watch is on C24 for a different price. All from Japanese dealers. Not sure what's going on over there, but the listings are all for the same watch because all listings have the same pictures showing the same distinctive scratch on the bezel about 11 o'clock.

I pride myself on knowing a certain amount about TAG Heuer, but I have recently come across a fair number of elaborate fakes that even I cannot tell from the real one.

The one pictured here is supposed to be a fake, can you spot it?

I believe the calendar magnifiers are different, but otherwise I don't know what distinguishes them from fakes.

I’m new to the forum. I joined because my brother has just bought a Bamford Aquaracer on eBay from a seemingly reputable dealer (2000+ positive feedback). The watch looks authentic, all of the packaging, warranty and serial numbers check out when referenced back to TAG. Everything looks great except for the lume. It doesn’t glow particularly bright or for long and instead of everything glowing light blue as per the official photos this one has blue indices and green hands as pictured below. Now that I read the thread the finish of the sandblasted titanium looks quite smooth rather than sparkles as well. He’s going to get it checked by an AD but any thoughts from anyone that owns one?

I also imagine, that you paid it above 3000 usd and the watch went through the review of the EBAY Watchmaker with the alleged revision of each watch from 2000 usd... "Authenticity Guarantee”

This is a commonfly faked model. Was it sold as "brand new" at a very good price? 🙄

Hey guys, need to get some peace of mind on the legitimacy of this watch. Thanks
I believe from the sticker labels it is a replica watch.
You can also post a pic of the pin and barrel from the bracelet to confirm. But I suspect it is a replica from the character margins in the stickers.
