I can't say for sure whether this one is genuine or not, but from experience, the real cards sent back after service by TAG are inconsistent and not well aligned. If in doubt, you can email them and they will check the watch for you.
Wow, sounds like a real luxury experience if that is what you get back after spending expensive money on service

Same problem of shared numbers though.

Oh yeah, the so called 'card' is actually self adhesive, peeled off a sheet of paper and folded over to make the 'card'. I kid you not.

Found it on a discord server auction... 馃檨
Is this fake too lume pip looks the same?

Hello fellow tag heuer users! 馃榾 I am able to buy a tag heuer watch but when i check it on tag heuer's warrany site it doesnt pop up. Seller claims its grey market which is okay, but I am still not sure. Here are some photos so you can help me! Thank you in advance and I hope you have a lot of luck in upcoming year!
Here, compare the lume pip on this real one for sale from that site, and the pic you posted. See how it's a completely separate piece, with a thin metal bezel, that's inserted INTO the bezel?

Hi all, I fell in love with the new Aquaracer 200鈥檚 (especially with my small wrists) and just bought the below watch. I did a lot of research and it seems like a good price and Watchmaxx seems to generally be a reputable business but after reading about all the fake AR鈥檚 floating around it has me a little nervous. I should have the watch tomorrow and I鈥檒l post pictures but at first glance anything to be nervous about?

I think its best you post photos of the actual watch when you receive it. Who knows if those photos even show the watch you'll receive.
I would also send it to TAG Heuer for authentication, otherwise will you not have a slight doubt in the back of your head? Imagine sending it for service in five years just to learn that you been rocking a fake piece.

Making a "really good deal" on ebay often comes with a risk. And these days fakes are getting so good it will be impossible to tell just based on photos. You will probably be fine but in the end I think only TAG themselves will be able to confirm authenticity for you.

Just reading some reviews of this Watchmaxx company does not give me too much confidence 馃槻

Thanks for the reply. I鈥檒l definitely post pictures when I receive it. The photos in the listing I鈥檓 sure are just stock photos.

First time I've seen an issue with watchmaxx. I've never had trouble trusting them. Maybe someone returned a fake watch....

I don't know much about trustpilot but one in five reviews have given a 1 star rating. Have you bought your fake Aquaracers from them? 馃槈

I鈥檝e never bought from them before and never heard of them until a few days ago but I did research their eBay reviews, trust pilot reviews, and searched this forum and watchuseek. I鈥檇 say the reviews are generally positive and if you start digging into the 1 star reviews only 4 are regarding fake watches so that鈥檚 why I felt ok buying from them. Not trying to defend them but just wanted to put it into perspective.

With that said, I鈥檒l post photos when I get it (hopefully tomorrow). Still super excited!

20% being 1 star reviews almost seems suspect it itself. I'm no watchmaxx fan boy, so not defending them for the sake of defending them. I honestly haven't had an issue, nor heard about issues. Not that it doesn't mean I'm just ignorant. Last 2 years have been rough, and I haven't been able to do much with all this, nor care enough to bother

. I've only bought one watch from them. A real tag heuer to use as an example against fake tag heuers. I've bought like 20 bracelets from them tho.

I'm truly surprised there were 4 fake ones. I try to ascribe to hanlon's razor. I'm not going to assume malic with them. Hell, I've gone after a brick and mortar sellers with 1000's of tag heuer sales. I'd LIKE to think these were mistakes, or someone sent back a fake watch. You guys have no idea what damage I could do with my knowledge, if I became immoral.

On EBay they have 13k reviews with 99.9% positive, trustpilot is a much smaller sample size (3.9 average, 278 reviews). If there鈥檚 really tons of fakes out there I wouldn鈥檛 be surprised if a few fakes slip through the cracks amongst the 10鈥檚 of thousands they sell. I will add, I know there鈥檚 some risk not going through an AD but given the reviews combined with the fine experts on this forum I thought the risk/reward was worth it.

I've purchased some TH watches from watchmaxx and not encountered any problems either.

No substitute for sending it to TAG, or just pay the full price. We know the fakes are good enough to fool 99.9% of the people, so why wouldn't the reviews be positive?

Hi guys, looking at a WAK2120 Aquaracer on eBay from a pawn shop with 100% positive reviews. They only have limited pictures however and it鈥檚 making me uneasy. Comes with box/papers but the warranty card isn鈥檛 filled out. I鈥檝e attached the pics here, I鈥檓 right to be passing on this yes? Thanks for any feedback, not too experienced with Tag鈥檚 to be sure of myself here.

I doubt it's fake to be honest. Not a popular enough model. Card says Sterling Jewellers on it... is the card even for this watch? I wouldn't put much store in it.

Okay thanks, all the details and markings seem to be there on the case/bracelet. Would the 0081263990 number stamped on the card under Sterling Jewelers be the serial number I wonder? I鈥檝e only ever seen the serial written on the card by hand.

No. I thought it might be a telephone number, there's no reason Sterling Jewelers has to be in the UK...
