That's why I thought it might actually be a genuine dial, because at first glance it's pretty close...

Isn't anyone else dying to know what that knob at the top does?

I'm guessing nothing at all.

As far as i could figure out this magical watch, the top knob stops the seconds arrow if turned 1/4 of the way untill felt resistance.
If you turn it further through the torque resistance it becomes loose again and the arrow starts again.

Weird function? Yes. Usefull? Only if it also stopped real time

That's terrible.
How about this pair. £200 for both on Facebook Marketplace! :whipped:
I’d go £5 for the case.

Mostly only fake ones. Although I did see someone selling a Fujiwara Carrera for £8250 on there the other day!

Good spot. Watch itself looks genuine, but it's quite a high price if it's not a complete set!

EDIT: Looking at it again, looks like he might have the original strap and NATO as well. Maybe he put it on this to save the original? ALl the photos look like they were taken at differen times, though. I'm not interested in buying but whoever is needs to check out the seller properly of course.

I think the reason nobody has responded is because it's not always easy to tell genuine Aquaracers from a couple of pictures on the internet. The chronos are less faked - I can't remember seeing one - but that doesn't mean they don't exist. The only thing that really jumps out at me from your photos is the bezel pip looks slightly off-centre. However, I would not be buying an Aquaracer unless I was totally confident in the provenance of the watch. You want to be sure you trust your friend and know how he came by it. Did he buy it from an authorized dealer? Or did he come by it through a series of "friends"? In which case, even if genuine, can you be sure it's not "hot" or stolen? You don't want to buy it, send it in to TAG and for it to come up on a stolen register and be confiscated for instance.

I was going to say it 'looks' real, but that lume pip is definitely a concern.
