@jamesbizs ... How do you get to speak to eBay execs about things like this? And how do you manage to convince people in eBay, who won't be watch experts, that these are all fake without evidence from Tag? Do they have experts they consult on such matters?
And does the fact the sellers have been removed now make it harder for you to get your refund or is that sorted?!
I met him one day, at an ebay event. Thankfully I took his card. He said, if I ever had a problem, give him a call. Kinda rolled my eyes at that when I turned around. But hey, 2 years later, I had a huge issue with my account, and after a week of getting nowhere, I remembered his card, and called him up. He fixed the thing everyone said was impossible, with one phone call.
I'm honestly not sure how I convinced them. I provided them with all the info I gave you guys. Maybe the exec's word is all they needed?
I was told before, that there are people they consider experts, where their word alone, is enough for ebay. I asked him if it's true and if I can be one. He said he'd look into it. Never heard back... But a couple weeks later, I messaged him about this. And, well, he sent it off to his Risk guy, and boom, Done.
I'm honestly kinda surprised myself. Feels kinda weird that they took down multiple long standing 1000 feedback accounts, on my word alone lol right?
OR, maybe it had nothing to do with my counterfeit info, but the sellers all had the same IP or something like that, that connected them and showed they were breaking policy. I could ask.. but don't want to push my luck with his generosity.
I sent him off a list of 22 sellers that are currently selling fake Brand new F1's. ALL with almost the exact same account styles. So letting him deal with that for now.
