·While back I bought a Heuer LCD watch- see below top right (scan from Onthedash)
I took the back off today to check the movement...and here is what I found
Hmm. It's not the same family as the Heuer made modules from the Chronosplit and it's not ESA/ ETA. I suspect that it was made by Timelec who made the movement for the watch below (scans from http://www.digitalwatches.de)
It's an odd one for sure. Timelec appear to be an outsourced manufacturer who made a few LCD movements in the 1970s. Wouldn't surprise me if they made the entire watch, as Heuer only sold these for a year or so.
Anyone know something about these movements?
