    All,

What movement might be in my 1983 acquired Heuer 980.006? The watch is 39mm (bezel). Markings on the face are Heuer logo at 12, and Quartz, 200 meters and Professional at 6.
Backplate is solid, with markings around the plate: acier, 20 atm, etache and quartz.

I'm asking because I would need a crown, stem, and possibly a tube. I have not been able to find those at ebay, so all suggestions are welcome.

I could even buy an unfunctional donor watch or movement if those would include the parts I need.

    Hi,

It should be an ESA 536.121 which have been out of production for many years. Crown and tube kits for your watch are available at TAG1000Diver.com.

If you are buying a replacement movement that is new old stock it very well could need a full service or even a new circuit and coil as well so factor that into your purchase.

    Thanks,

    Justin

You can also look up ETA 9362 as a direct swap for ESA 536.121 or if you are creative enough, ETA 2824-2, SW200-1 can be an option(quartz to automatic). Have fun hunting for good ole, limited movements!
