Hi just wondering if anyone else has charging issues with their connected 45
When I place the watch onto the charger it sometimes will charge and other time it won’t unless I manouver it left right or up and down
I’ve cleaned the contact etc but it’s still random apologies if this was posted by others before but I looked and couldn’t find any posts

Hi Jcr!
I have my CM 45 since 2 month ago, and charging system is perfect. No issues at all. I first connect the magnetic charger to the watch (putting both Tag logos in line), and then I connect the plug to the 220V. It charges always at the first attempt, and it shows the charging face if the watch was switched off.
Maybe something in your charger is wrong... try to solve it with the watch warranty. At least, the charger is the less expensive part of the CM 45!

It rarely charges on first contact I have to keep adjusting the watch on the charger to eventually get a clean connection

I answered your previous post. Yes it is quite normal.
Clean contacts on the watch and pogos on the charger.

Make sure sw is the newest.

i have been having this trouble. Sometimes it charges and sometimes it doesn't. Tried to charge it this morning - have cleaned contacts and still no luck

I've just posted on Jcr's post on 19th that I was having charging issues and then read Albert-AMGs post above, so connected puck first then turned on and it worked! So does this mean its important to connect first then turn on?
Or was it just luck?

Hi! I do this way as indicated in the Owner’s Manual (chapter C1), and after nearly three months using the TH CM 45 every thay, the charger is working 100% of the times at first attempt.

shit system as simple as that, i have no issues like this with any other smart watch at a quarter of the price

I ended up going back to the Tag shop where I bought it and they gave me a new charger - had no issues since but I agree it’s not a great design

Any hints on cleaning( and prevention afterwards) the metal contacts on both watch and charger? Sweating cat I am it start having issue on charging .......... Alcohol? Wd40? Any help and Experience are more than welcome .THanks in advance

I have always used Alcohol and cotton buds to clean electrical contacts.

Hey. I’ve had a problem 3 days ago, watch is 5 months old, I noticed the battery was getting warm whilst charging. 2 hours later I’m presented with this and a dead watch. Plugged directly into a USB port into the wall socket (no plug) original wire as well. Sent it back and told to expect it back in Feb 19!!!

Mine (45) since a few days, also while the watch is charging is warm ( with the same charger since April 2017)
There was a updated or chages in software recently?

Mine was updated as needed. So I sure why and the Tag shop said they had not seen it before
