If Perez had started from his original P3 grid slot, there's every chance to believe he would have been on the podium and would have been leading the championship. That penalty was extremely costly.

Do you get the feeling the Max has inherited Hamilton's 'luck'? Like even when something happens to him, like today - it never really comes out as bad as it could have. Like if Hamilton or Max got a puncture it would always be two corners before the pit lane, but if Perez or Bottas got a puncture it would always be in turn 1 or something... or like if they had to start from the back then their teammate would get punted off by someone else or something, and they would get like 8 points but the team mate got nothing.

Wonder what Carlos said to the Ferrari management after the race, or did he just smile knowingly?

Who else spotted Julien Tornare, TAG Heuer's head honcho, at the F1 Chinese GP grid walk?

Just dropping in to mention that Lance Stroll is a trash-can.

Good night and safe driving

Red Bull confirm Adrian Newey to leave early 2025, apparantly Ferrari already been in touch with a big bag of money. Would his design be enough to help them win again? Can he do strategy as well as car design?

If Fred can bring Newey to Maranello after signing Hamilton, that’s the second of two miracles he needs to achieve to become an Italian Catholic saint. What an incredible thing it would be to see Ferrari actually win another championship after all of these years and to look like an entirely credible and professional team again. They’ve been looking better since Fred joined than at any point since Jean Todt imo.

Just caught the sprint race, why so much blue on the Ferraris?

Is Max still unhappy (ish) with his car? Or is he playing mind games with the rest of the grid?

"Ferrari have unveiled their special livery, featuring shades of blue, that will adorn the SF-24 at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix.

The one-off design change marks the 70th anniversary of Ferrari's presence in North America and features two historic shades of blue – Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino."
